Town to keep its three post offices

Essex First Selectman Phil Miller was not available for comment, but a spokesperson for the selectman's office told this newspaper that no word of any such plan had come to the office.

Essex has done a good job of getting grants to improve infrastructure and protecting open spaces. It hasn't however articulated a progressive innovative plan for economic revitalization in downtown centerbrook or ivoryton...empty buildings...sit vacant for years..not months...a waste of potential tax payer dollars...get rid of three post offices for a town of 6500...maybe Essex doesnt want to be ivoryton or centerbrook after all...
