This guy has a problem, you wouldnt know because I assume you all live charmed lives, I agree he should be punished BAD. But at this point he CAN NOT STOP. They should take away his driving privlidge and put him into treatment, and then then maybe caine him. He is a bit of a douche
Treatment centers are a joke. Do you know what the success rate for those entering treatment is. Extremely low. I'm sure that with that many DUI's the judge has put him in treatment in the past.

Let me stop you it's not CAN NOT STOP...it's REFUSES TO STOP. We can do anything we put our minds to. My ex after 25 years of hard drinking and drugs kicked the habit because HE wanted to!

shouldn't he be dead already with a BAC that high? i think someone needs to recheck the .393 because that seems way too high for any living human. that would be like walking around with a 150 degree fever.
No, it definitely is possible. However that is most likely why he was on the ground when they found him and was taken away in an ambulance and not in the back of a cop car. You'd be surprised what some peoples bodies can handle.

While I think the dude should be boiled in oil don't you have to actually be driving/behind the wheel to be convicted of *driving* under the influence?
In some states if you are in a vehicle that is not running, but you are in the drivers seat (say you realized you were too drunk to drive, or just wanted to "Sleep it off." you can be arrested for suspesion of driving under the influence.

Why wasn't his license taken away...ohhhh, I don't know....after the SECOND drunk driving offense??
Take his license away? Do you really think that would keep him from driving, drunk or not?

What...you gotta' be kidding. I know a Senator from the State of Mass. who regularly clocked in at .393 BAC on the Senate floor. He very recently died though.

when I was a kid, it was .015% for legally drunk while driving. Now it's .008. I'm sure they meant .0393..05 would be fatal for most people.

You don't know your BAC's, a .008 is very low. One drink puts most people at .02 the legal limit in most states used to be .10 and is now .08 not .008. A bac of.393 is not uncommon.

Exactly. Somebody that gets caught driving drunk 22 times doesn't care about some plastic card. Do people think that he's willing to risk getting caught DUI but not risk getting a ticket for not having a license? Come on use your head. This is like people that think protection from abuse orders will keep a deranged husband or wife from killing them. It's a piece of plastic, this guy doesn't care. And dont forget he got caught 22 times, you can rest assured he was driving drunk EVERYDAY and getting away with it more than he was getting caught, just like a million other people.

He should be put in jail for 10 years and be banned from driving for life.
