GRT is not a tax rate. Its taxes paid by businesses based on their sales. Ruidoso is doing really well.

it is interesting that the TX sales tax rate is also about 8% and NO STATE INCOME TAX
who is stealing all of the $$ in NM?

Taxes in texas average 2.57% while in New Mexico the average is 0.72%.

6 of 1 half a dozen of the other .Property taxes in Texas are higher than NM .I think it all comes out the same ,correct me if I wrong.
