Glad I don't live on Mimosa. What is with all the car burglaries and also the home invasions. Small town, not so safe. Can't leave your vehicles outside your home anymore.

My question is: How did the kid know where the porn was and that there were porn videos in this house?

The real question is, "Do you know how to torture a fourteen year old boy?"

Makes you wonder if the owners of the videos have a child who may be friends with this boy? Maybe the child had stumbled upon them and shown his friend? Just guessing here. But I will say, if I were the owners of that merchandise I seriously doubt I would want to involve the police and let everyone know my business. I would either have just let it go, or went to the thief myself , but these people actually called police and said we want to report that someone has stolen all of our pornography??? It's so amusing, and i wonder if the officer who filed the report had a hard time keeping a straight face??
How about this

A resident on the 2200 block of North Florida Avenue reported that between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., someone forcibly entered her residence and removed an LG30 42-inch flat-screen TV, 19-inch Orion TV, a Phillips DVD player, an unknown model DVD, two table lamps and one shade for the lamps. A witness described a late model white van with windows at the residence with the back doors open at approximately 11 a.m.

I'm curious;
If the witness saw people loading stuff into the van and thought it suspicous why not call the police?
Also,
The owner said that between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., someone forcibly broke into her home. The witness said they saw the perps loading the stuff into the White van at 11 AM, who is right?
why didn't they give the description of the people taking the stuff? Might help later on if someone sees this van.

Because some people consider it nosey and none of their business about the happenings at a neighbors house. They can't be bothered to help out.

maybe on the bond issue they could add some after school activites, maybe stop minor home invasions and minors stealing porn. I know this is not funny, but I can't stop laughing with the police logs today. Only in Alamo....

That's how our neighborhood is. We bring in the mail for our neighbor when they're out of town, be aware of what cars are normally seen around our area, know what shifts they work, etc.

Our neighborhood has a lot of retirees and mostly homeowners instead of renters that might move in and out of the area more frequently.
