Whoo hoo, this conjers up some funny visuals - in EspaƱola no less! What do they have, maybe 4 stop lights in the entire town?

The cost of installing those cameras will exceed the annual gross retail income for the community!

Better that they place drug sniffing dogs at every intersection instead.

Espanola needs cameras on the streets, in the homes, and everywhere else. It's a beautiful part of the state, but lawnessness is rampant, almost to the point of feeling like a circa-1800's Old West town. It's an embarassment. Anyhow, snap away. Good luck collecting any fines, however...

The Red Light Camera is the Law Enforcement equivalent of a Casino.

They wouldn't make a dime if no one ran red lights.

Espanola needs red light cameras like we need another dead person shot by the police. They're not going to run red lights in a rush to get anywhere, what a costly waste of public revenue. Well it's not public anymore either.

Great idea to help from having someone t-bone another vehicle causing injury or killing someone.
Too may run a red light on purpose way past when the light turns red. Go for it and max out the fines. Have them everywhere.

From my days living up north, a u-turn camera would generate much more income in Espanola.

Where is the best place for installation? Before, during or after?

Espanola is as nice of a city as any. The red light camera will mostly catch people driving through. Its so windy in Espanola because we are blowing the crap from Albuquerque back at you.
but that's OK........you don't have to live here.........that way we can enjoy a nice quite neighborhood.
Have a great day.

Since Espanola has a population of under 200,000, the Judas governor cannot share the fine monies with hillary clinton.

And the fines are shared with the company who installs them and maintains them.

Espanola may be in store for red-light cameras !!
Why not? a great way to make money.

Every one redlight town will have one soon.

Some small towns that don't have red lights, will put one up with the camera just for the revenue.

More proof that this is merely a money making scheme. What they need is breathalizers at the lights.

But I guess they want to tap into the pockets of all the lab workers.
