Albemarle School Leaders Tour Elementary Schools

Albemarle county school leaders are getting educated before making a controversial decision about the fate of three elementary schools.

Talk about a waste of money. All Albemarle County is doing is putting on a show for people. Their decision has been made, they are just playing along so they can say they covered all bases to avoid potential lengthy court battles and backlash from the community. They could care less about community involvement all they are worried about is the bottom line savings (supposedly).

My thoughts exactly, Scottsville Resident. They'll probably close the schools, and what a HUGE disservice to the children that will be. Sad...

I am from Scottsville Elementary and I will be very sad if they close our school. Even though I will be going to middle school soon, I would like it to stay open for my little sister. Please make the right decision for all of us here at Scottsville Elementary.
