used to be cops were our friends and they would have drove this guy home told him not to drive tell he sobered up . now they make their living acting like nazis . how many seat belt tickets can they write us . dont we have any rights as citizens any more , i say down with the proctor cops and no sense of humor tactics they used on this poor fellow just think this is now a police state and may bee cops should learn to be nice for they realize no one likes them any more .

Would you rather have the police ignore this until the gentleman killed himeself. Maybe next time it would have been a cliff he drove his chair off of and not into a parked car. As I understand it, the police were not in "Increased enforcement" mode when this drunk ran his chair into a car. If you obey the law and act like a responsible citizen you really have nothing to fear from the police. You need to grow up.

I understand part of it is the hype of buying a famous motorized chair but you can buy two of these with more gagets for the less money online than this one went for on ebay.
