I saw tail end of Korea, all of Nam few other stops in between. Twenty two years total, nice salad bar, ok check each month, VA health care etc...but lost buddies right in the field...I ask today all for what ? If i could do it over I would be a Park Ranger chasing Yogi....

You have the freedom to think the way you want and do the things that you choose to do.You have the freedom to vote any way you choose weather it's republican or democrat or independent.You can even choose your religion...
And in case you didn't know it all those freedoms would be gone if it had not been for these brave soldiers who fought and many of which died for those freedoms.....like they say..Freedom dosen't come free...

I just stumbled upon this discussion. The exercise of free speech, the vigorous dialog presented by all sides is a necessary enterprise for people in a democratic society. But, please don't do it under the bi-line of a fallen soldier.

George's family will likely google his name, read this dialog and they at this time are not thinking politically, they are mourning the death of their only child. For the sake of those who mourn carry on this political conversation in a different venue, there are many. Please.
