I was excited to eat at a new erwin restaurtant ,I visted there last night and wasnt really impressed with the food chips were soggy and greasy ,burger was pink in the middle and bbq well just not good, on a good note wait staff was excellent but i myself think a little to comftrable i dont like seeing them sit down infront of customers rolling silverware ,talkin etc very un profesional .and walking around with drink cups in there hands a no no in my book .I am sure trial and error because it is new but would love to see this place stay but food standards have to be raised .

Can you believe they would sit down and roll silverware in front of you? It's a friggin burger and BBQ joint not the peerless. Get over yourself. If you don't like it, stay away. They don't need your business anyway.

It might be a burger joint but, as a customer, I really dont want to see waitresses walking around with drink cups in their hands...it does look unprofessional and bit too relaxed for my taste. I've been there once and the food was decent but overpriced I thought. Also, I think they should have put up some kind of dividers in the room to break it up...its just a big open room so every time someone walks in the whole room is staring at them.

The food is okay but overpriced. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. But the atmosphere is like a high school cafeteria. Too open and dull. The jerseys etc on the wall are hung sloppily If you want to show Unicoi pride, a little attention to detail would be nice. I'm sure I'll end up eating there again but Clarence's is much better. And Los Jalopenos and Primos don't shove bible verses down my throat on the dinner table. I love Jesus but typed up verses on the napkin holders. I was going to dinner not church.

Been there my first and last time. We ordered burgers & fries.Had to ask for mayo, for crying out loud, and patties seemed to be soy patties instead 100% beef. I'v watched too many episodes of Restaurant Impossible, because I was really thinking the whole time I was there, "boy could Robert Irvine give them some much-needed tips on the sterile atmosphere. The wide-open space without partitioned booths, and the wall decor could really use some redoing!" With alittle thought, fresh foods,(instead of frozen and deep fried), this restaurant could really be made into a nice place to eat.

Fair warning on their steaks. They are the silly little thin cut ones but charging a real steak price. I got one and won't do it again. It didn't taste bad but seiously, I'm not paying for thin cut steak when I go out to eat.

The Corner Grill has good food at a reasonable price, and they use 100% beef in their burgers.

I haven't heard anything good about this place. When it first opened I heard about the horrible service, now all I'm hearing is how bad the food is. If you're going to open up a "Burger Joint" in Erwin it better be good and have a little something extra. We have some great places around to get a burger that have been here for years. Hopefully Bubba's will read this and make the necessary changes, if it's not too late already. First impressions are everything.

Ate there the other night the food was ok but it was like going to Clarence's drive-in but not as nasty. Salad poured from a bag, dressing from a bottle, baked potato steaming hot from the microwave but not completely done, and a steak so small you needed 3 to make a meal! Clarence's food with the Peerless prices.Wow not doing that again! Could have had a real meal from Longhorn and got change back!

My family and I have tried it. We all were very dissatisfied with the food, cost, and atmosphere.

You use the words "retarded" and "friggin" and then call everyone else "clueless". The next time you are inclined to log on to a computer (or ask someone to do it for you, if that is the case) I recommend you try reading a book first. It will really help you expand your vocabulary.

I would say that Bubbas won't be here for very long.

Sure wished someone would have put in a Yamatos Japanese restaurant instead! Great, consistent food and service every time you go!

That's a good idea! We would have Mexican, Japanese, and Italian all in a row!
