What is a couple of extra miles to drive to receive any type of care for problems you may have. You can always just go ahead and drive to JC because you will be if MSHA gets it. And also where in Erwin is there site big enough to build a hospital?

Since the hospital is a community owned hospital the members of their board are appointed by the people we elect to office in Unicoi county and Erwin. Sue Jean Wilson, Jimmy Erwin and Todd Love were appointed by Unicoi County Mayor Greg Lynch. Glenn Tilson, Russell Brackins and Roland Bailey were appointed by Erwin Mayor Brushy Lewis. Dr Wegmam is the chief of staff at the hospital so he gets an automatic seat. Who ever is in the position gets that board seat. Dr Colinget was for years.
The problem with this board now and always has been that theses mayors appoint their friends to this board and they know nothing about how to run a hospital but they are there making major decisions. None of these 6 have any healthcare background. Tilson was military, Brackins was IRS agent, Love is a car salesman, Wilson a school teacher, Erwin a county cop and Bailey at Nfs. They weren't experienced with how to run a hospital.

Sue Jean Wilson, Jimmy Erwin and Todd Love were appointed by Unicoi County Mayor Greg Lynch.(Only 6 million in debt. They're lucky lol)

Sue Jean is the best thing that ever happened to Unicoi County politics.

It shows. She's like the rest of the illiterate and/or unqualified, corrupt town and county politicians and bigwigs who are bleeding the county like ravenous leeches and leading it to bankruptcy as the pied pipers of doom.

I'm so thankful that I left that dreadful little Peyton Place after I graduated from high school. Unicoi County is a shrinking violet that will be like many of the small towns in the old west that are now dust-filled ghost towns. The sad thing is that you people are sitting back and allowing those corrupt pied pipers to break your spirits and bank accounts.

You must have me confused with someone else,I don't cry about Trivial Discussions. I did state the truth, neither will build a State of the Art Facility in Erwin or Unicoi. They will build a facility meeting minimal requirements and transfer people to there main hospital.

Bottom line,The board will be sitting pretty with money running out their ears and the rest of the town will just be there. They think they are some kind of rulers, but wait and see what happens in the future.People are sick the Sue Jean Wilson's and Glenn Tilson's doing the things they do.There is going to be a cleaning out starting with the election commission.

Funny, she just got elected in as a city alderman! Don't think there will be change in this town until some of the "good ole buddies" die out.

Back in the day people had to keep a low profile. The previous administration made up the rules as they went along, and applied them to whoever they felt the need to.

Look at what happened to John Day,you've heard the old saying "You can't fight city Hall"? Kent used that to his advantage, just like his great grandaddy did when he was police chief, rolling drunks and beating them while they were handcuffed.
You are just as big a piece of shit as they are.Hawg never knuckled under them even while Kent was Sheriff, just ask anyone that knows about all the back and forth between them down through the years, that's why they hate him so much.
I read in another comment someone said Hawg had more integrity in a pile of shit than that whole family did combined, that's a very true statement.

Why Kingsport or Bristol? When Wellmont is going to build everything we need in Unicoi County. Can MSHA say that?

I was told tonight by one of the board members that the vote for which hospital will be coming this Wednesday. Of course MSHA has Glenn, Roland and Russel.
