What a joke. my friend applied and was approved because she is a dialysis patient.
Will not assist the patient - my friends house sits back off the road has a driveway
she has a hard time walking with a walker... you are for senior citizens
If you have a sit time they wait 5 mins if you do not show , you are banned from riding
the Lift for two months...
They did charge a flat fee now it is so much a mile and you have to have the right
amount....
My friend is going to have minor surgery will use a Cab instead.. To hell with the
Lift take your old farts to Tops at 6:00 am...

My friend solved the problem with the Lift. She was taken to UPMC Hamot from
Dialysis for Chest pain. Found to have a unusual heart beat. That was correct
Her pacemaker was replaced.. all in one stay.

I claim shenanigans, I had seen a Lift driver assist 3 elderly women off the bus and take his time with each at Wally World this afternoon.

The lift is a double edge sword. It is a great way for disabled and elderly people to get around. Here is my gripe why the lift sucks so bad! It is the SCHEDULERS AND DISPATCH! They treat people like shi*! What for? They are ignorant and really need to find a new job! So maybe instead of treating customers like trash you can start treating them like human beings! You claim to be non profit but I know damn well the state cuts you a check! One more thing is there flawed system! Stop cramming so many people on one bus! People on dialysis need to get there! Also if some one is wheel chair bound and needs an aid why not have it on file that they always have an aid instead of giving them a hard time! Well that is my spew on why the lift sucks. THEY NEED TO FIX IT AND FIRE THOSE Ass's in the office!
