Cops can ruin people's lives at the drop of a hat.If you are showing respect and not hurting anyone why do some cops need to ruin somebody's life

So what you are saying is that the Police just randomly picked you out and abused you. You were just minding your own business, obeying the laws and conducting yourself in an orderly manner and they just happened to single you out?? I call BULLSCHIT!!

Of course you would say that it's the big ego talking --- nobody should ever question a cop -- how dare they Bla bla no matter what they do or how many lies they tell --- they are all saints and nobody else can compare. You as a cop can judge someone's contributions to the community and how they are living their life. Then you use all that power to burn someone or give someone a break. Well go you ---- you must be the most proud when someone's life goes in the dumper.Got a gold star. Yay !

Went to a function recently---- there were 2 people at a table asking people to join a group to help police solve some recent crimes and some drug issues. Ther had to be 200 people there. Not one person came forward to "help police". I wonder why that would be --dah

An officer who breaks the law should be punished in EXCESS of Joe Citizen. They are supposed to lead by example and there should be an example made of them!!. If they think its OK to break the law, I think its OK to prosecute them fully and yank their pension!!

Of course when you do something wrong you shouldn't be punished at all. Typical loud mouth loser spouting off and showing everyone how ignorant he is. You are an embarrassment to yourself!

All of you and most everyone has family members that broke the law -- if there's no property damage and no victim ,and the person is productive in the community ,a good cop will sort all that out consider someone's past record and judge how severe the punishment should be -- then there is the not so experienced (maybe not so bright ) cop that simply wants an arrest as he strives for that top cop award. And those marks on a young persons record can stay on her records for life. Cops have lots of power--- they need to remember it's nice to be important, but it's important to be nice. Like they say some ruin it for all . If I catch you teen rolling a joint I can make sure she gets arrested, fined etc.or I can scare the crap out of them with a warning.

When you see it happen, call the EPD. Be proactive rather than reactive!!
