Thanks for sharing this! I've been looking around at different places that can help me with finishing my wood floors, but I'm not really sure what to look for when it comes to finding a company. But I found this, and to be very helpful. Thanks again for sharing.

Express Wood Floor Refinishing & Installing Services were great to do business with, and the price was great too. They were professional and on time. I paid $1600.00 for a ranch house.

Rented a sander at ganzer equipment. Got a brief lesson in the operation of the machine. Though I had never tried it before, it went as planned without too much difficulty. Hell of a mess thats for sure, damn dust gets in every nook and cranny despite your best efforts. Sander rental, sand paper, brushes and polyurethane added up to about 200$ Completed a dining room and hallway. Wife liked the result so it was an unqualified success.

It can be done very reasonably and the results are good. We had redone a living room, hallway and 2 bedrooms. It was messy even after taping off areas of the house. Worse part was sanding close to the trim, ended taking all of it off and refinishing that too. Used a few coats of high gloss ploy with a light sanding down between coats. Turned out like a skating rink.
Much easier to refinish then to install new. Took longer to install new 3/4” red oak throughout the current house. To many crazy angles to cut with tongue-n-groove.

I twice made plans with Dana Floor Sanding to call then come for an estimate and they neither called nor came either time. I'd NOT recommend them.
I've done business with them twice in the past. The first time, years ago, the father did it and was outstanding. The second time his kid did the work, or lack there of. Horrible job.

I have been begging my husband to let me put in wood floors for years now. We have been living off a tight budget for a while but I think we finally have saved up enough to do it. I would be so happy if we were able to get done some wooden floors installation, even if it was just in my kitchen. Hopefully my husband will let me do it now!
