That's reminds me, in the 70s the mall had lockers you could rent. I discovered one was broken and I could use it over and over. For about 2 years I carried a key for a mall locker that continued to work for me every time. Lol
Good times good times

Millcreek Mall had some awesome times when I was younger and lived in Erie. I would spend entire days there, money or not, looking for fun. Found most of it at

Red Baron
TILT
Software ETC
Babbagge's
Science World
Cinema inside the mall
Any simulator or tech related demo's in the middle of the mall
3 Brothers from Italy pizza (Wasn't the best, but it was giant slices of pizza for insanely cheap)
Music store (not sure what it was called, but it had local/import/obscure/pop music)

Loved being there in the 90's. If you went there during that time, you're pretty damn awesome!

Record Den -best local store next to Record Country in Wesleyville.

Lived at Tilt playing SF II for hours on a few quarters when there were lots of rubes around.

That explains how things got botched for you, that was a dental office located by Sears.
Yes that Dental Office, I had all my teeth removed there so I could better service Jervis.

They was all extracted, hair tooth and all. The dentist was Dr Sopper. It was a grueling 8 hour ordeal. Blood and brain fluid were oozing out my nose, eyes and ears. Dr Sopper was new and I was his first patient. I could not service Jervis for a good month.

what was the name of the bakery that used to be there? It was located just to the left of the Serta Mattress store now? I remember my mom would always stop in there and get a loaf of bread and I got a big chocolate chip cookie!
I remember that place but not sure of the name....maybe "Tiffany's" or something? Next to that was also the GTE store. Loved going in there and looking at all the fancy phones! Across from that was one the Thom McAnn stores, there were 2 of them in the mall. does anyone remember the lady who worked at the information booth who wore a turban on her head?

My grandmother worked at Lerner's(now New York & Company) for many years, so I was at the mall very often, they had a little girls section in the back. I remember those 2 "pits" sunken down in the hallways where there was a circle of pay phones that only cost a dime! There were giant ashtrays on top of the garbage cans. And yes, people just put out their cigarette butts on the floor! I remember Buster brown kid shoe store where my mom made me get these ugly red winter boots and I cried! Ahhhhh, the memories!

how about Wicks N' Sticks? They had candles of all different shapes and accessories. It was near Kaufmann's. Also near there was a jewelry store Ostermans. Also there was Fannie Farmer a small candy store. I spent many years at the mall, my grandmother worked there and then I worked there for several years. The hippie kiosk was Mountain Magic, not Magic Mountain like someone said earlier. Worked there and also Foot Locker when it was near Sears and was a very tiny store. Across from there at some point in time was Robinson's jewelers("the blue store"), Eastern Mountain Sports, Elby's Linens and Moore, and The Disney Store. We used to prank call the Disney Store saying mean things about Mickey Mouse because Foot Locker was directly across and watch the workers answer the phone and be crying laughing! I think I could almost name all the stores in most of the mall in order of where they were. I would absolutely LOVE to see a listing of the old stores and pictures!! That would be so great! If anyone knows where to find that let me know!

Don't work at the mall now. I definitely remember McCrorys, they had everything from live animals to records. I remember getting many buttons there and putting them on my snazzy jean jacket! I do not remember Ciros, I think it was before my time! I would LOVE to see pictures of how the inside of the mall used to look!

I miss hanging out in the smoking pits stoned or trippin with the rest of the McDowell heads. There were a couple of Prep heads that hung out with us too. Right Tim?
