Ever notice that the Erie media constantly goes and finds Kathy Dahlkemper, constantly asking for her "insight" on various political issues? Kathy even held a press conference to announce her endorsement of Sean Wiley. When will this end? Honestly.

SHOULD WE REALLY CARE WHAT KATHY THINKS ABOUT EACH AND EVERY POLITICAL ISSUE?

You'd think the lady served in Congress for 30+ years and became a kind of elder stateswoman inbued with the political knowledge and wisdom of some major political heavyweight. The fact was, she ran in a Democratic year (2008), beat a Republican who had more than worn out his welcome (English), and profited from competing for the job against a very poor field of competitors (Kyle Foust for instance).

I'm a Democrat who voted for Kathy. I certainly wanted her to do well. Sadly, though, I'll be the first to admit just what a poor representative she really was. Kathy's staff wasn't that stellar, either. Take Amy Cuzzola-Kern for instance. This woman had absolutely no business being given such a top position on a congressional staff. As someone who dealt with Amy on various issues, I can attest to the fact that she was clueless and had no real insight into what she was doing.

Kathy Dahlkemper also never learned to speak properly--in interviews or speeches. I was often embarrassed seeing her speak on an important issue.
I believe probably one of the biggest reasons Mike Kelly got elected was due to just how poor of a representative Kathy was. Her biggest achievement (sadly) is probably that it will likely be many years before Erie has another representative in Congress.

So I'm just asking the Erie media to PLEASE quit following Kathy around as if she's still in office or as if she's some kind of political heavyweight/elder stateswoman.

It's embarrasing to me as a Democrat.

Can somebody please explain to me, from where or whom does LEAF get the authority to do whatever they wish to do in Frontier Park? Is this not a public park? They have most certainly done a lot of positive things in the park, but where does it end? Do they have free reign? I know of two areas in the park that were our football/baseball fields of choice growing up in the area, they now have trees smack dab in the middle of them. If I raise enough money, can I just show up one day with a crew and exercise my personal vision of the park?

Heard she is gearing up to run for Erie mayor in 2013, if she does she is going to make the race very interesting. All she has to do is campaign and she just might win the race.

Kathy Dahlkemper- idiot elected to office by ignorant Erie voters. She went to Washington to further the Democrat agenda and plant her nose up Nancy Pelosi's ass. No concern for what was best for the area. Kathy, did you read the healhcare bill you signed? No
Phil English on the other hand went to Washington to represent his constituents. He did alot for the area. He voted for what was best for us, not what was best for the party.
Unfortunatly people loved to be lied to. Fortunately Kathy was a one term wonder, please go back to managing your hispanic landscape crew.

With Obamas reelection and democratic gains in the Senate, the Affordable Care Act will stand in your face as a reminder of Kathys courage. I hope it burns in your twisted mind like a glowing ember from hell.

The only thing Phil did a lot of was "Phil" his fat face. So glad he stood up for the NOAA station. Maybe we would have forecasts that were accurate & radar that showed what was really going on? They sure got it right again this weekend.

Looks like the Sinnott stooges are starting their pre-emptive strike against Dahlkemper. She would beat Joe Sinnott 3-1 if she ran for mayor.
