Fact of the matter... motorcycles are dangerous!!! What would have been just another minor accident is now a fatality. Fender Benders turn tragic. And for those hardcore motorcyclists who feel it's their right to have the wind blow in their hair. Buy a f*%kin hair dryer...
PS. I think I'll take my horse, my hovercraft, or my gokart for a ride down a busy road...

first off your a idiot! 2nd yes she died at the fault of a drunk driver. does that mean all the bars will stop serving alc? or that everyone in her family or friends of hers will never drink again? NO! the benefit is to raise money for her funeral expenses. i know its hard for people that didnt finish highschool but try for me ok. just cause you drink does not mean you have to drive afterward! and we all know everyone in this town drinks so its a great way to raise money. now if you have a problem with that show up sunday and tell somebody and we will all have a clam talk outside with you
I hope the police sit outside and nail any drunk drivers leaving it. Benefits can be held without alcohol, or as something other than an "all you can drink" event. It's a "great way to raise money," as well as a great way to ensure that there will be drunks on the road. You aren't so naive as to think some of those people won't drive drunk, are you? You want to raise money? Do it through a casino night, or a poker run, or something like that.

Also, I would show up if for no other reason than to have that clam talk outside with me.

I disagree with almost everything you have posted on here. It's extremely appalling that a benefit to help for funeral costs for the victim of a drunk driving accident will be providing alcohol. They are going to make money off the same thing that killed this girl?! Here's a thought, take the money for the alcohol and donate it to her funeral costs. This is almost the hypocrisy 101!

Reading what you posted,I would guess you are under 25. You are correct that fund raisers mostly include alcohol. Having said that, I must agree with many on here it is poor taste to include alcohol in this event. If people want to give money toward the funeral costs they will do it with or without the booze. She was killed by a drunk driver. How would you feel if one of the people attending this fundraiser killed someone else. You can not police everyone and it is human nature for people to drink a little too much at one of these things. Please rethink what you are doing.

He didn't kill her sober jackass! That's why he's being charged with a DUI related accident causing death. Nobody has said it wasn't his fault, but don't you think that if he wasn't drunk this may not have played out the way it did? It would be totally different if he was sober and you wanted to drink at the benefit. But I think it is in very poor taste to be serving alcohol.

My daughter is an only child. I do believe that I would be the one going to prison if she were killed by a drunk driver. No matter how long I had to wait for the asshole to get out of jail...the perpetrator would die by my hand. End of story.

There are plenty of other parents, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters...what ever the case...that feel the same way as me. Drunk drivers should be afraid...very afraid.

Just look at the guy a year or two ago, in union city that shot the molester of his son.

Wrong on all . It is illegal for a bar to serve a person who is drunk. If you get drunk at a friends house, they take
responsibility for you also. Many past DUI are from people taking cabs or walking home and jumping in the car later..

How many drunks get a ride or drink at home, than beat or kill their spouse.( child abuse )

Many cabs refuse drunks a ride now. The cab company assumes liability as soon as they accept your money.

Its the person not the mode of transportation, stop abuse at the source. Like...I didnt kill the person, the gun did !
