So why do you think Golde is on leave? Was he getting money for pushing the new construction labor to his cronies? Inquiring minds want to know!
I don't know why he is on leave. Obviously he has some personal reasons and things to work out. As far as your speculations about his "cronies", as far as I know, the Board has never secured the $90 million to start the project yet. All you are saying is pure speculation intended to smear someone's name. From what I have seen, the reasons for leaving being personal legally prohibit the Board from discussing them without some sort of potential for a lawsuit. What you are asking is irresponsible.

I've been reading your posts and you are obviously very liberal. I can see how much you emphasize your notions of relativism.
Antichrists? Please. I'm not jumping to the conclusions that just because I disagree with Wilga that he is filled with STD's and is gay.
The issue isn't even Ron Wilga's homosexual relationship with Dennis Brunetti. Thats old news that district people knew and still know about. In itself it doesn't matter. It is the fact that he let Brunetti hit kids at North Coast and showed favoritism. It is the the cronyism that is the problem. You know as well as I that when people hear things of sexual nature sometimes it gets bent as the only reason because it is the loudest. It shows Wilga is for Wilga and could care less about the students. I'd even vote for a gay if he was a proven fiscal conservative, but I have yet to see one. Plain and Simple.
Palermo FOOTBALL? I'm sure he still carries on and on "ad nauseum" about people talking about his bar citations and the steriods.
And whats wrong with Mike Koblyka? Just because he voted against the consolidation he is a joke to you? I'd like to hear why! I think of all the board members he understands that we are not made of money. They knew they could not foot the bill for this project while losing up to 18K per student per year that goes to the new Charter school. He understand that balanace sheets in public schools will never again enjoy the unprecedented glory days of the past.
You say they want the best for our community. I know that financial stability is far better than a new building. Thank goodness this project will never happen. Now we should be able to fix the school up and give it all the TLC it needs w/o breaking the local tax base.
Thats the problem with liberals. They never want to work with what they have in their bank accounts, even on the ideological level. Thats what bothers me the most. Its one thing when theory doesn't meet practice (as we see with some Republicans), but with a liberal the two never even bother to strive to meet each other.
Gino...you are right about some things but don't go around pretending you don't like all the theatrics.

1). What you are saying about my liberalism, if I am even that...nice mischaracterization based on what you feel you need to make yourself feel better. If its makes you feel like a bigger man to call me a liberal, fine. Do just that. I actually believe in conservative financing, but I also know there are times when investments are made for future opportunities as well. Resting on our laurels with this school is not, in my opinion, a good investment. And by that, I mean, quick patches and minor upgrades. Do it, and do it right.

2). I wasn't referencing you specifically regarding Mr. Wilga. I never even mentioned your name.

3). I know nothing of Mr. Palermo's "citations" either.

4). My problem with Mr. Kobylka has nothing to do with the new school. It has to do with his complete lack of any type of involvement or input into any decision or discussion of this school district because he has either never attended or never provides input or research into the subjects. You are not the only one who pays attention to individual board member based on what they do or say. I have been to meetings where he does NOTHING. Offers NOTHING. Until cameras arrive. Ask him about any of his involvement in budget development or curriculum development, or personnel development, or improvement to student offerings. Nothing.

He is about making his one liners to appease his crowd that support him for one reason, chased his media friends, and site back and continues to do nothing,

He is no better than Lou (a perpetual political loser), and Donna (a perpetual political loser), who just wants to be elected to the next position. You should expect any elected official to actually DO something. I do. And, that is my problem with Mr. Kobylka. I hope that answers your question.

For a FULL INVESTIGATION.
I could make a thread on each board member. I see Ron Wilga was the only one on here. I guess gay sex scandals peppered with child abuser tactics are more important than a bunch of guys stealing from the public. They ALL need reigned in and called out. This project has stunk to high heaven from day one!
We need the folks to come in from Harrisburg to teach these people how to run a school district. It is sad but true.
The reason is simple. They all keep tongue tied because they are each (board members) are fearful of their own dirty laundry from airing in clear view. I think they could all be held personally accountable if what I am hearing about Golde is true!
Mancini and Ron Wilga, HUGE conflicts of interests. Mancini with a huge litigation on her back and the parents coming out on Wilga. It looks like Wilga came out too.....
Can Mancini vote for and convince the others to vote for the taxpayers to pay her litigation fees??????? COME ON PEOPLE!
Ray and Diplacido dumbfounded in the middle, while Wheaton adds her signature 21st education into the mix. Is it a curriculum? NO. Its a building.
Palermo with that stadium and his pathetic rivarly with the Montagnas. Never back down Kramer and his expensive new school built with other people's cash. Give me a break. Of course they knew what was going on. They voted for it. Something very fishy is going on. Why is the township so cosy with these out of town architects anyhow?
Looks like thats just what is happening.

No That was because Lou didn't address the forms by their proper names. Remember they refused to meet with Lou until recently. The purpose of that letter is to bring the PDE in. They will get even more accurate and precise with MTSD.

Gino....You know what? That is actually well written, but the school board is no place for patrician politics. That goes for the liberal union bangers too!

This is very divisive. Read my posts. I know all about Wilga and can't stand him. He is a screw up, but this conservative vs. liberal thing that you and Lou bring is not going to work well in a school board atmosphere.

My sister is a teacher, think about students and teachers. Both do better when there is less commotion....

Good try! From what I read of Lou and Gino on facebook he thrives on commotion and lies. Then he mixes some truth in like this Christy Webster cancer teacher that other teachers speak of and the 5 million transfer controversy, Golde and Lincoln. Lou knows he needs all this bullshit to win. Less people looking at him when they are looking at something else.

Careful now! These people stand to win or lose gainful employment with all this BS. It took thousands of people on facebook grps, to say, "Hey something stinks in the state of Denmark!"

I still am amused at how pretentious they become. When we don't buy the act and look at the actual budget they get angry when we question how they run the little world that we help pay for. LOL
