Great work officers. You cant nab any of these east side gunman but u can dish out 3000 dollars in fines on hard working people running their labrador retrievers and poodles in the woods at scott park. And detain the people for over an hour as well. The district justices should waive the fines and send those veteran officers after the men who rob circle k at gunpoint once every 2 weeks.

Yes siree! 80K a year to moonlight as Animal Enforcement officers. I guess there isn't any REAL crime in Millcreek. I did over hear some guys making plans to rob a newspaper machine though.

thats why they call them hollywood cops. they are afraid of criminals so they only go after people they arent afraid of. ever notice if they ever pull over someone other than a female or an old person there are two cop cars. erie pd can do it with one and so can PSP...not millcreek though. erie cops joke about working for millcreek once they retire.

I support our police officers . But the armed robberies and homicides and shootings are at record highs. This is not the time for doggie patrols. Stay focused

You people complaining about cops issuing fines for dogs running around scott park are the same yups that will call the police and scream about the dog crap all over the softball field when you spoiled brat kids are playing a game.
scott park isn't a dog park, keep your dog on a leash and you won't have anything to worry about.

Why isn't there a dog park anywhere around Erie?? All other cities have parks for dogs. I think it'd be great if Scott Park was a legit dog park. Those fat old guys reliving their glory days out on the softball field are a bigger nuisance than some pups playing in the mud.

You can't make Scott Park a dog park because it's already classified as a gay park.

I'm sure that the gays wouldn't mind the dogs, and vice versa.

Saw the dog cops there yesterday. He was walking in the woods this time. Some runners from Gannon complained about a dog.

I moved to millcreek because of the parks. I have been walking my dogs at Scott Park for over 20 years! I pay millcreek taxes. I wonder how many non millcreek persons are complaining.

One incident in over 2 decades. Sure fine the owners who do not pickup after there pets.

We need someone to chime in here who has the know how to do something. I know a lot of parks who let dogs off lease who respond to voice commands.

We all should not be punished for the few bad owners.

I do vote in millcreek and we may need a clean slate next election.

Let's get our facts straight. First, the cops aren't patrolling the park, it's the millcreek dog officer (he's not a cop)and he's responsible for investigating complaints about dogs in the park. So, until the elected officials change the law, he's just doing his job.
Rumor has millcreek stupidvisor RF lets his dog run loose in the park and tells everybody it's okay.
