They need to fine the revving crap. I'm tired of that. No one person should be allowed to bother thousands just because he hasn't grown up and 20 years later has found a way to have better "fun" than clothespinning a playing card to the spoke of his front bicycle tire.

I called EPD non emergency number. They cop on the other end said he had taken literally hundreds of calls all day. He said they were told not to enforce any noise ordinances for the weekend. He agreed with me how aggravating it was. He even said he tried to take off the weekend because he knew he'd be getting calls all day.

Biking is not my bag. Having said that I am still happy Erie has a large event like this one. It is almost entirely peaceful and surely does bring in a good bit of cash. There is, however, absolutely no excuse for letting idiots blow off 140 decibels inside of anyone's downtown. Start handing out $150 tickets and that nonsense will stop real quick.

There were no incidents. The video of someone getting run over was a set up. It was filmed by a friend of the guy who pretended to get run over. Stupid erie people. ROAR ON THE SHORE RULES. MORE BIKES MORE MADNESS MORE MORE MORE

I like to dress up in mother's clothes sometimes and smell her panties. That is as close as I will get to ever having a woman in my life. Rock on Sopper.

David everything will be okay. Quit dressing up in your mother's clothes and going through her panties. Some day you will find a nice girl and everything will be okay. Sorry about all kinky stuff I have been doing to your mother lately. She still thinks you have some daddy issues to sort out.It is not your fault he took off with a prostitute he met on parade street.Sorry about the drama.

Had a great time at Roar on the Shore, can't wait for next year. This is great for the city of Erie and it is always for a good cause. Incredible how this event has went from a few thousands bike for the 3 day event to 100,000 bikes in such a short time.
You do realize this "good cause" just benefits the manufactures association? Maybe a few bars and businesses downtown, but none Is given to the community. Just read the roar info online and see for yourself. There is no mention of where the money goes, just that it " helps" Erie. Truth is the money goes to a private company.

Roar on the Shore is the worst "money-maker" Erie has ever come up with. Went downtown to hear a band and the bikers refuse to give pedestrians the right of way. Revving their engines, coming as close as they can without actually hitting you. Don't know of any other town that goes out of its way to draw riff-raff to its community. Know a lot of people who just leave town when this event is going on to avoid the scum that descends on Erie and the hassle of all the riders who don't give a damn about Erie residents. Can't wait until someone is killed at this degenerate event. Maybe then Greedy Erie will disband it.

Regardless of folks arguments one way or the other the event surely does bring a lot of cash into the community. Personally, it doesn't have any benefit to me being self employed and not dependent upon Erie economics in any way. I must say though there is no excuse at all for the revving. It needs to stop! Absolutely, totally, 100% inexcusable! There is a very good reason we have disturbing the peace laws and noise ordinances. Those very good reasons are not suddenly outweighed because some half-drunken immature moron decides it's time make his hand move a certain way to assure he immediately aggravates a few thousand folks. You can do it if you wish but take with you this little piece of paper. Please deposit an additional $200 into the Erie coffers, thanks.

Hey Bozo it's grammar not grammer. If you're so rich why don't you pay an educated person to post your comments.
