This guy gets locked up and can't get released on bail? Yes, his attorney is a moron, but will everyone who opposes wasting money on government jobs for less-gifted relatives like Pleasant Ridge Manor now have to worry about jail time? At least we can all sleep better while this criminal menace is behind bars. I hope the jailors at the county lock-up are on their toes, he is a criminal mastermind.

Ebert's a total loser...let him rot in jail. He's a boil on the backside of Erie County government. Anybody who believes and supports him are morons.

If you believe that Ebert Beeman is a "boil on the backside of Erie County government" keep in mind he was brought to you by the disinterest of the Democratic and Republican parties in Erie County. As usual there was no Democrat who even ran for the seat Beeman won. That the Republicans didn't know he was a libertarian shows their arrogance. The Democrats and Republicans have rigged the election so that is it very difficult to win as a "third" party member so it is perfectly acceptable for a person to run as a Republican when he is not a Republican. As long as the Republicans fail to run candidates in the city and the Democrats refuse to run in the county in order to keep turnout down (and keep power in as few hands as possible)I hope that many more Ebert Beemans make fools of the Democrats and Republicans by exposing their rigged elections. Just don't commit minor traffic infractions because, you know, the vindictive bitches could get you locked up.

Anyone can get signatures and run for office under any party they choose. Look at Fat Joe Sinnott. Ran as a Democrat, but is a Republican puppet.

Sure they can, but if you want to run as a Libertarian, Green Party, Independent, etc. you have to get many more signatures. There shouldn't be primary elections paid for by the taxpayers, the old parties should pay for their own conventions like the smaller parties do. In the main election the requirements for getting on the ballot should be the same for anyone wanting to run, no matter what party they belong to. The Democrats and Republicans have stolen control of the elections which is, well, unAmerican. Any time a citizen takes control of an election from the Democratic and Republican special interest groups I applaud it. Beeman beat the Republicans and Democrats with their own rules and it angers them.

I agree we need more parties and a level playing field. Two just doesn't cover everyone. Never has.

Lock up your backdoor, lock up your wife, Ebert Beeman rides again. Lawdy Lawdy how can they let a man convicted of a summary traffic offense out after only one week? I'm just glad no law enforcement officers were injured in the capture and Locking away of this desperado. I wonder if the political sycophant that calls herself a judge even realizes how thoroughly owned she is.

I,as do thousands of others, ponder and question how Ebert continually evades actual judgement and justifiable or adequate punishment. What is more puzzling is why the Bar Association,Courts etc. sits mute.I fear and also am concerned that his rebellion and defiance(if he continues to baffle )could set precedent, relative to the procedure of obtaining driver licence. LAWYERS, PLEASE COME FORWARD! The viability of our present criteria for driving,is at risk!

The Erie County sheriff's department should continue to stalk him until they can arrest him for a DUI.

Put Ebert behind bars and leave him there to die. NO loss to humanity.
