Do not try to sell your items at Clothes Memtor, Erie, Pa! They insult you! It is not worth you're time or effort!

What I can tell you about Clothes Mentor is this. They sell fake items. Went to the North Olmsted, Ohio location, checked out prices on their USED Coach handbags. Total rip off! They were any where from $65 -$125 for a USED one. You can go out to Aurora Farms or any other premium outlet mall and buy a new Coach purse for less than what they sell it for at this place.

I then went to look at the shoes. Found a pair of red leather low flat PRADA Loafers for $60. At first I thought, "NO WAY!!!!" then I started to look for the embossed serial # and the PRADA "triangle" Symbol. These (supposed) PRADA shoes had neither. Now, I know shoes. I mean I KNOW my shoes. So, I showed this to the store associates, explained to them how to determine authenticity along with some sites they can run creed #'s on designer items to determine if the items they are taking are real or replicas. The staff were seemingly open to my input but my feeling is they will put the shoes back on the shelf. I then asked how they determined their pricing for used hand bags. They informed me they base prices off of similar items sold on eBay. Really?

My advice ladies? Save your money and go out to an outlet mall to buy your designer digs. It is certain you will spend less money on a brand new coach bag than a used one and at least you know what you buy at a Premium Outlet Mall is authentic.

An absolute waste of time. If they do offer to buy anything from you the amount is ridiculous. You would do better to have a yard sale.

I took shorts and skirts that I bought in Ann Taylor Loft. At most AI wore them three times. Everything was dry cleaned. Awhile I waited an hour and a half for them to review my cloths I looked around at everything. I was so sure they would be delighted. My items were better and more fashionable then anything they had in the store. And in way better condition.

Well I was wrong. They sent me packing because the items were over two years old - even thought they were still in style ne in excellent condition. Policy. Sad really since I am sure others would have loved them! I went to god will and donated them.

Goodwill had better stuff for a lot less!!

Unless you want to waste time and be insulted stay far away.

Well, all clothes mentor is, is a franchise. It is a corporate name with a web of franchises. That means that some local area husband/wife own the clothes mentor in Summit twp., Pennsylvania. They're giving us jack shxt for our belongings and then turning around and making a profit from us. The workers up there in Summit are mostly white trash drug addicts and what would they know about designer wear?! Those girls are lucky if they can afford KMart clothes and payless shoes and I'm not kidding. Um duh, that is why they work at clothes mentor making a little over minimum wage. I mean, seriously, get a life. I would never hand over my Valentino, Prada, Coach to those poor mouths. They probably low ball us, and then keep our expensive, hard earned belongings for themselves because we all know that those girls could never afford a $1200 clutch made by Valentino. You don't need to authenticate something like a prada or Valentino. In other words, someone who needs to "authenticate" primo designer wear, obviously has know clue about primo designer wear. Am I right, or am I wrong gals?! Am I a bitch? Well yes I am. I am a very wealthy bitch. I've earned it and I would never give away my things to uneducated, white trash, drug addict. Who haven't a clue about authentic wear and how hard us ladies work to acquire the taste that we wear, desire and delve into. Do not give your money/clothes to any business who aims to profit from your hard earned money. Instead, create a network of friends, acquaintances, neighbors and throw yard sells in our neighborhoods. It sure to attract the attention of the lower class and what little money they have, but they'll buy our things, at the prices we demand, bbecause they'll never be able to afford it otherwise. Take pictures of clothes mentors price and adjust your clothing to there business model and have a yard sale ladies!~your friend Abby

If getting your underwear from a thrift shop is the best you can do please yourself Snd get it over with. I donate my sins clothes to a boy next door, mostly nike, and mostly still like new.

Don't even waste your time! I went to the one in Edmond,OK. It wasn't anything special and the managers were very rude and stuck up not just to me but to all the other customers there. I will just continue to go to the one across the street where they treat their customers with kindness and respect.

My sister an I made two trips, one hour each way, we were told we would have our clothes evaluated on the spot and be paid on the spot.....NOT TRUE......we were then told they would contact us in three days as they were back logged. After eight days we contacted them. We drove back only to be told our clothes were out dated, REALLY ?????....most were purchased last year, most with tags still on them. THE SALES PEOPLE WERE CONDESCENDING AND RUDE. We had also made the mistake of not getting receipts when we dropped off the clothes, they said they did not provide receipts....we should have walked out then. Upon returning home we were MOST DEFINATELY missing items. Never again.....Salvation Army is the way to go. I am sure Karma will prevent this SHADY OPERTION from lasting.

Workers were rude. Snobby feel about the store and the clothes were not the greatest. Took some nice name brand clothes and shoes to the one in Garland and they wouldn't take them and offered me $12.00 for an Authenticated Coach Bag. Would never go back or recommend.

Do not waste your time. Rude and snobby employees. I tried to sell items that were in really good shape, and that were dry cleaned and still in cleaner bags. A lady ahead of me sold clothes that looked like she pulled them out of a Goodwill bag. Her things were bought mine were not. I was told that my clothes were over two years old. Not the case. I was given a $5.00 coupon for my next visit. I shopped there before and I know that some of the clothes were old and past the supposed two year limit. Thanks but no thanks Clothes Mentor. Racist, rude, sales people. I will not be going back.

At least I can afford Gucci,! And when ebay improves it's sanctions on non paying bidders, I would gladly sell there again. Don't speak on what you don't know. I would never buy anything from clothes mentor, I would only sell there. The only reason I went there was because of their ad on the radio, which said they wanted high end brands such as gucci fendi and LV. And for the racist asshole who said I was on wic or welfare.......umm that's you, most white people are on welfare, that's why you know so much about it. Dickshithaus your name pretty much explains why you are so effed up so I see that why you have nothing and depend on wic and welfare to survive....dick do the world a favor and kill yourself, the world would be a much better place.
You know you don't have to be that mean about it? Just because you are african american and had a bad expereance dosn't mean that you have the right to be rude to someone else even if they were rude to them. You could go to jail for that if they did kill theirselve. I would laugh if you did.
Just proves that you ARE rude and ignorant.

I agree with the comments about clothes mentor chadds ford dillworth plaza. The staff are very snobby, they laugh at what customrs bring in and look down on people, think they are better than everone else. They recognize thei women that come in with money and take there clothes, and look down on someone because they may not look the part of them, how sad they are. I would never go back there and make sure I tell people.
