Buy Polish apples, duh, because the source is blankwalled.

However,“The Arctic is our most immediate carbon concern,”[Jason] Box said, referring also to the CH4 escaping from the melting permafrost. But the sentiment can be expanded to all of climate change:

“We’re on a trajectory to an unmanageable heating scenario, and we need to get off it,” he said.“We’re f***ed at a certain point, right? It just becomes unmanageable. The climate dragon is being poked, and eventually the dragon becomes pissed off enough to trash the place.”

P.S. They should dry the excess apples.

Mike Bleech is a worthless "writer" who is a hick from Warren County trying to act like he knows what is going on in Erie. He writes about stupid s h it that nobody wants to here about like global warming, his bear hunt in Maine and his catching 6 inch trout in a 2 inch deep creek. Another reason the Erie Times sucks.

Mike is off the reservation on this issue ....
Truth is there has been no Global Warming in about 19 years.Even if you took the altered temperature data at face value which in all honesty you cannot ,there is only 3/4 of a degree difference from coldest to hottest across the last 20 years. It is also true there are other studies with unaltered data which show the results Mike claimed to be valid are false.
The attempt to blame Global Warming for western drought conditions is preposterous.....no evidence exists to justify that statement
As of today more & more real climatologists are accepting the fact a 16 year or longer cold cycle is likely with some of them believing we are at the start of another ice age
I just do not understand how with so much of Al Gores hysterical braying & screaming being found to based on false data that .so many people swallow the Global Warming Hoax...example! We are now approachin30 years since Al first claimed we only had 10 years to reverse Global Warming or it would be to late.
Remember the vanishing Polar Bears? There are now 5 times as many as there was 25 years ago.
How about the mythical Ozone hole ? Most legitimate scientists now think it has been there all along & man has nothing to do with it.In an associated thought, how many times have they altered their computer. models in a vain attempt to have them correspond to their predictions "guesstimates"which at this date still have not followed the agenda.planned.
Global Warming is real , so is Global cooling...there are short term variances due to geologic events like volcanos but the only long term proven culprit for Global Warming is the big yellow ball in the sky which sometimes waxes "radiates more heat " or wanes "radiates slightly less"

OK Eddie. Let's assume that you are 100% correct. Do you still feel man should continue using mass carbon pollutants/emissions for our energy needs, e.g. gasoline and coal?

This is a question I have answered before....absolutely yes because it is the only way we can continue our existence as the ranking super power in the world.
First none of the popular alternatives such as wind, bio fuel can even come close to providing the power we need to continue let alone do it economically
Second there are virtually inexhaustible supplies of gas available to use in the interim
Third How about developing an economical way to use tap water to power our automobiles& trucks. Breaking down water into Hydrogen & Oxygen would provide far more fuel then our oil or gas reserves can . The beauty of this is one of the principle by products of internal combustion engines is .....Water!
I support an energy tax to raise money for the development of economical methods to harvest solar power which is a source we can never exceed the suns capacity to furnish it.

Actually it is the lack of sun spots & it means the sun is going to be less active for a period.of time.......As many are now predicting perhaps about 16 years but no one really knows for sure.
We will just have to wait & see what the future brings .

Pennsylvania coal was formed by tropical weather we also had ice ages long before man was around with Al Gore and his selfserving global carbon tax. I cant stand nightly news using every weather event as a top story focusing on a car that washed away in a flood or big hail stones calling everthing "monster storm " millions in the path, even naming snow storms like hurricanes but I bet they will shove it down our throat like they did with national health care.

Carbon dioxide is necessary for all life on earth. It isn't a pollutant.
