Jesus: Honey I’m home
Wife: How was your day?
Jesus: O-M-G, you would not believe these damn Jews. Then I dropped my wallet in the river, stood on a rock to retrieve it, and looked like I was walking on the water. It was hilarious! Wife: That’s nice. I guess you had to be there.
Jesus: BTW me and the guys are getting together for dinner next week and I need to take a dish.
Wife: Pork rinds will be a hit.

No, the 'larger' picture is in the study of Christian depravity and its lack of respect for God's creations. That early Christian men were so depraved and so disgusted by the bodies of women that they'd create the myths of virgin birth and priestly celibacy is the root cause of that religion's failures and scandals throughout its history. doug wrote: <quoted text> Jesus wasn't killed, he came to die and rose from the dead. Check your history. Priests were allowed to marry for about the first 1000 years of the church. The real reason for the celibacy requirement was too many children of Priests were laying claim through inheritance to the wealth of their churches.

We accept the fact that you hate the Church but please don't use false accusations to support your position. It makes you look petty.

I read that in those days, groups of nomad men like Jesus and his disciples would often have a woman with them to cook, clean and act as a housekeeper. It was not romantic, just a business arrangement, and that this woman would be referred to as a wife, although there was no sex involved. Jesus also could have been talking a about his bride, The Church. Somebody decides he had a real wife 350 years after he was crucified? I don't believe it.

Love to see reference for this....Jesus never went to "church" he was a Jewish rabbi and went to the temple. Jewish rabbis were married. To not be married would be note worthy.
