I asked the same thing yesterday. Is this the famous Jim Lecorchick's kid?

I saw the news about this at 5 o'clock. Too bad, it does seem that this is his son. Also disturbing, I tuned in his sports radio talk show minutes later and he's on yakkin' away as if nothing happened. Perhaps this was breaking news and he was unaware at the time ? Best of luck to the family in this tough time.

Another case of locking innocent people up for something that should already be legal. Our prisons are already full. ____~~

I've known Lecorchik since the early 60's. He's not a bad guy....in fact he's a pretty good guy...a little too hung up on sports maybe....but that's no crime....

Nor should the possession, and/or sales of marijuana be a crime...c'mon people...

There , but for fortune....

Good point Interesting. I've listened to Jim for many years and he was always harsh on drug dealers. This being marijuana does not excuse the crime. It is a known illegal offense whether people agree with that or not. Since this kid was a ringleader I'm afraid he'll be doing some hard time for his long term activities. Sad story but the penalties were established long before he chose to act as he did.

I doubt if he'll get any hard time. Jim knows too many people--Trucilla, the Ridges, etc.

I'll bet they use their influence to cut Jeff a deal so that he doesn't get too harsh of a sentence

NO DEALS! Drug dealers need to do hard time. Maybe if JL had paid more attention to raising his kid instead of his career this wouldn't have happened. JL always struck me as a very look at ne....I'm so wonderful" type.

You forget Jim is friends with Andy Sissini, Brad Foulk, and countless other "big names" that he likes to throw around. All of them have influence of one kind or another. No way little Lecorchick does any hard time. He'll probably get probation.

Parents shouldn't be held accountable for what there adult child does. The person who he turned out to become probably started when he was out of there care at college. This is a parents worst nightmare.

Went to grade school and high school with the kid. Yes, he is Jim LeCorchick's son. The kid was a real turd, though he was pretty fun to beat up in football practice.

That being said, possessing and distributing some marijuana should not be a crime. He and those like him should not being in the same prisons as murderers, sexual deviants, and armed robbers. After all, what he did was commit a *victimless* crime- rather he was being a businessman.

Nope, I'm not a member of the Green Party, not a hippie, nor have I ever used marijuana in my entire life.

Andy Sissini? What the hell could he do about it? The kid was charged with like nine different things! What in God's name would Andy Sissini be able to do?
