Your bargaining deadline expired and your greed is going to land you in the unemployment line. If you want to stay in Erie you'd better wise up and take a pay cut. Realize you are easily replaced and have no true power to negotiate. If you don't wake up, you will be unemployed and also cause many others in this city to be unemployed. You are not just deciding your fate but also the fate of all the vendors that need GE to stay in business.

Never saw the end in sight, All the union big wigs telling you do not worry we got them right where we want them now. Blind leading the blind. Union Busting plain and simple, And the body did all the work for GE.

hey 506...what did you win?

What leverage do you have?

Why does unemployment and looking for a job in Erie seem like the better alternative?

Why is this even a decision?

This should decrease home values across the region when everyone moves away. Dont think getting your real estate licenses will help you find work afterwards.

Saul will buy the houses of the little UE boys at rock bottom prices and sell them to the new immigrants (people who will work hard to make a living) at nice profit.

"Local UE 506 Wake Up?!!!!" Couldn't think of a more proper, appropriate, fitting title there? Seriously?!!! Who pulled in BILLIONS of profits while who were the people working to make the pie? Those union guys are AWAKE and at work far earlier than the management and bigwigs... don't water-cooler talk until 11am after arriving through the gates an hour before, and walk around all day... Yes, WALK and TALK! "Wake up?!" Do some friggin' work... oh, don't want to get that white shirt and tie dirty, huh? Unless it's from a latte and danish;) BILLIONS! Period. Done.

All word-speak. Corporate greed... How much profit? How much did the bigwigs get for bonuses lat year yet they won't pay the WORKING MAN? Yes, work. Disgusting what these corporations have come to with their insatiable appetites for themselves.

Unfortunately, you're right - the non-erie leaders took the 506 down the garden path, straight for the unemployment line.

Good point. I'm sure it would be big, big news if a business pulled up stakes somewhere else in America and relocated in Erie. People would be celebrating and jumping at the chance for employment with job application lines out the door, around the corner, and down the street. Great news for Erie !
But wait, that would be bad news, maybe even devastation for other people and their families where the business left them high and dry. But would Erie care about those folks ? You know the answer to that. And the good people of Texas are reacting in the same manner as how it would be in a similar situation here.

Look for the Union Victory Committee to put the GE Logo on the trophy wall downtown at AFL/CIO headquarters to celebrate another big employer they bagged & sent out of town.
Trophies like this are endangered here in Erie ....it will slim picking from now on.
Keep drinking that Union Koolade & wait to see when the UE Benefit wagon rolls into town to replace what you all have lost.
Damn fools everyone of you!
