1. Actually Switzerland has a thriving beer industry with many excellent regional breweries.
2. Apparently you have never tasted real Fosters...how about Tooheys or Emu Export?
3. Yuengling is successful due to its location in a heavily populated urban area....then what explains the failure of Iron City& Duquense in Pittsburg or Schmidts in the same urban area as Yuengling?
4. American Beer festivals are a dime a dozen there are dozens of them....you want to attend a real one, go to Munich for its Octoberfest or its Starkbierziet "Strong Beer Festival" ...Memorable!
5. Small regional beers are better.....Some indeed are excellent but most fall south of real quality or taste.
6. AHA! Your real agenda surfaces, lets beat up Dick Yuengling a bit, he may be the whiney prick you reference, I do not know, never met him ....but he does make a great beer! So put aside your Unionist agenda & lift a glass of Yuengling to Dick in appreciation for a job well done.
I am a libertarian and dislike big business getting special tax breaks and deals like the one Dick Yuengling is angling for. And he IS a whiney prick.

Yuengling is a poor caliber corn and rice beer and is no where near the quality of Sam Adams. And you don't hear Jim Koch pissing and moaning about anything. He's too busy innovating.

Swiss are nothing more than tight-assed inbreds who wouldn't know good beer from a personality. The only drinkable beer in Europe is in England, Germany, or the Czech Republic.

Octoberfest in Munich is for American tourists. The echte Oktoberfest is in Stuttgart. Alles klar?

All together 1,2,3....Lets dump on Dick Yuengling one more time, the true color of your shorts are showing "Switcheroo" & they are Union Label Yellow! Lets take a swipe at the Swiss while we are at it.

All those fillers and preservatives in Yuengling are getting to your brain.

The Swiss financed the Nazi war machine and other nefarious activities. They deserve the world's scorn.

Nice try troll.

I don't buy or drink bud light.

I drink local beer: Lavery, Brewerie, & Southern Tier.

You're probably the loser that brings the Yuckling to parties and then grabs the good beer someone else brought.

Yuengling makes one of the best tasting porters around. Their lager is barely tolerable. Never tried any others. It's been over 20 years since I've had a straub, and if lucky 20 more before the next.

Right idiot. I only drink craft beer from Great Lakes to Stone Brewing to everything in between. Moron, I pee out more beer knowledge than you will ever have. Glad to see that you support non union breweries.

I guess you think so. It's quite delicious. Far better than any other mass produced beer in North America. Yuengling and craft brews all day for me.

You folks actually drink that lager and straub crap? Good god y'all need to get out and try some real beer. Start here,... anything with a monk on the label is good. The worse reinheitsgebot beer is better than best PA beers. With the exception of the YG Porter. It was better in the 80's before they expanded the brewery but still best beer out of PA.

Yes, most home brews are harrribbblle, but the creator thinks he's some kinda brewmaster. Of the 'home brews' if have had in the US less than 1% is even drinkable. I would suffer through a y lager or worse yet a straub than be subjected to some chuckle-heads home brew.
