Totally disagree. Yuengling is the off flavor beer. It only made money because yuppies thought it was a craft beer and the brewery threw a lot of money into advertising. Yuengling, unlike Straub, uses additives and cheap adjunct grains like corn. Garbage in - garbage out.
Totally Disagree??? Like I posted ......"small but loyal following" I have drank many bottles of Straubs, tolerable once you get accustomed to it but Yuengling is by far & away the better beer .
Neither is my preferred beer as I used to travel for business & sampled many regional beers better then either as well as many international brews better then anything brewed in the USA. Suprisingly some of the best beers I have ever tasted were regional brews in Switzerland followed by Australian mainstays.
When my Dad was still here I spent many a day on Lake Erie fishing with a cooler of "GENUINE" Fosters Lager in the bottle not canned on ice. Dad always said ....don`t give a damn how many perch we get as long as the Fosters don`t run out.

I am not sure what you mean about third or fourth time around but.........."GENUINE Fosters" was the real Fosters brewed in Australia not the American market crap now offered by Miller brewing & formerly Molson. Big difference between original & imitation.
Do not recall the resealable top, 12 oz dark brown glass bottles, 12 & 25 oz cans are what I am familiar with.
I used to buy Original Fosters in the bottle back in the day from City Beer.

Horse mickeys. Yuengling Beer is terrific. Their lager and their black and tan beat anything on the market. It is produced by hard working loyal employees who don't need this nionsense about a boycott. Buy Yuengling...it's a piece of Amwericanna and it's a damn fine brew!

For a domestic brew,Yuengling is right at the top but.....there are other international brews which take flavor & satisfaction to a higher level for Beer drinkers.
Anyway I see we have lost the Union agitators trying to stir up trouble ....We can all drink to that!

Yuengling beer tastes like mule piss to begin with, no one drinks the crap other than the central Pa. hicks who can't drive their buggys to town for real ale.
Mr. Yuengling is a typical republican teabagger who forgot where he came from and the union people who made him his billions.
Lets send Corbett and old man Yuengling packing soon!
Thanks...we all wondered what mule piss tasted like but were to afraid to try it. Glad you had the balls to actually crawl under a mule and open up. Thanks again.

I'm with Koehler, Yuengling sucks, the taste is watered down and likening it's taste to mule piss is offensive to all the mules out there.
Give me a Bud, Miller or Coors over that awful crap any day of the week.
On another note, the owner of Yuengling sounds like a typical republitard fat cat who forgot his roots, once they make their millions they don't want to admit how and who helped them attain that status. I can't say I'lll boycot the crap because I don't consume anymore but I sure as hell won't buy it for parties or to have on hand for poker night at the camp.

LOL. Nobody ever went to Switzerland to drink the beer. But you're a big beer expert who thinks no taste Foster's was good. No wonder you like Yeungling.

Yeungling owes its success to the fact that Pottstown is between Reading and the Philly metro area. Not because it's a good beer. And sales volume does not mean a beer is good. There have been a lot of exceptional beers - American Beer Festival medal winners - that are now out of business. Small batches of quality regional beer is better than a beer with compromised ingredients and a big marketing budget.

Anyway, Dick Yeungling is just a whiny prick looking for some kind of handout from the state. He'll cash out with InBev most likely.

Bud...Coors...Miller....LOL!! You sound like a typical democrap moron. Your taste can only be satisfied with Obammy's urine. You clearly don't know anything about good beer.

FYI, Yuengling is brewed in Pottsville not Pottstown. Sales volume does mean a lot. People must like it or the volume would not be there. Also remember Bud and Miller are no longer US beer and Molson and Labatts are no longer canadaian beers. When profits go to South Africa or Belgium, how can you call these Norha American. Buy American. If you don't like Yuengling, Dick Yuengling has a good friend, Jim Koch of Sam Adams who makes a good American beer.

You have to love how some of these beer companies are advertising "American made". Yep, profits go overseas. You can buy something from Erie brewing, they brew some good beer.

1. Actually Switzerland has a thriving beer industry with many excellent regional breweries.
2. Apparently you have never tasted real Fosters...how about Tooheys or Emu Export?
3. Yuengling is successful due to its location in a heavily populated urban area....then what explains the failure of Iron City& Duquense in Pittsburg or Schmidts in the same urban area as Yuengling?
4. American Beer festivals are a dime a dozen there are dozens of them....you want to attend a real one, go to Munich for its Octoberfest or its Starkbierziet "Strong Beer Festival" ...Memorable!
5. Small regional beers are better.....Some indeed are excellent but most fall south of real quality or taste.
6. AHA! Your real agenda surfaces, lets beat up Dick Yuengling a bit, he may be the whiney prick you reference, I do not know, never met him ....but he does make a great beer! So put aside your Unionist agenda & lift a glass of Yuengling to Dick in appreciation for a job well done.

Nice character assassination!.......The fact you post like a Union robot posting what the Union memo said to do did not have influence on your diatribe did it. Yeah right, innocent of any ulterior motive....BWAHAHAHAHA! You are a phony suckass!

Leave it to a brain dead democrap to think that Bud, Coors or Miller is real beer. You are as dumb as Obammy. Clearly you don't know your ass from a hole in the ground.
