Totally Disagree??? Like I posted ......"small but loyal following" I have drank many bottles of Straubs, tolerable once you get accustomed to it but Yuengling is by far & away the better beer .<quoted text>
Totally disagree. Yuengling is the off flavor beer. It only made money because yuppies thought it was a craft beer and the brewery threw a lot of money into advertising. Yuengling, unlike Straub, uses additives and cheap adjunct grains like corn. Garbage in - garbage out.
Neither is my preferred beer as I used to travel for business & sampled many regional beers better then either as well as many international brews better then anything brewed in the USA. Suprisingly some of the best beers I have ever tasted were regional brews in Switzerland followed by Australian mainstays.
When my Dad was still here I spent many a day on Lake Erie fishing with a cooler of "GENUINE" Fosters Lager in the bottle not canned on ice. Dad always said ....don`t give a damn how many perch we get as long as the Fosters don`t run out.
