This topic was already brought up with Larry Meredith, but there is another name worth mentioning in the Divecchio/Weindorf fiasco.

Whitey Cleaver claimed that Sean Wiley knew about the comp time as far back as January. If this is true, where is his accountability in all this? Shouldn't this have been immediately reported to Divecchio and resolved at that time?

Divecchio stated that employees who knew about the comp time could also be disciplined. Will Divecchio actually discipline his #1 crony, or will he continue to cover for him?

You already answered your own question. I think we all know how this will probably turn out.

Wiley isn't going away.

Wiley is a political name but he's NOT his grandfather (Dave Wiley) Sean is a never was and a never will be as his father (Dave Wiley) Fetzner wants himto run for office and what a travesty that would be. December 31st, 2009 can't come soon enough for this band of incompetants.

How did Cleaver know that Wiley knew anything ? Cleaver, Foust, Leone, Loll, Divecchio, Wiley, et al, are all in need of removal from office. Their creed is " Spend, Spend, Spend 'Til They Bleed" !

One is no better than the other. Wiley and Weindorf were doing what the others only taught them.

With the taxpayer no longer footing the bill, who'd pay him?

Weindorf's job is being posted on the county website:

http://eriecountygov.org/dept/hr/jobpostings/...

The big question: Will an underqualified political hack/crony be slid into this nice paying position? The minimum requirements are a Bachelor's degree, 7 years public safety experience, 5 years of which are management experience.

Divecchio's been known to "waive" requirements for certain individuals. A strong and experience leader is going to be needed for this position in a department that is a mess. It bears watching how this is handled.

It doesn't matter what Wiley did/did not know.

He is part of the network. His status is protected.

Let's see, Bloxdorf resigned to become the "Deputy Director" of Public Safety...So if Wiley plays his cards right maybe he can suck up to County Council and the County Executive and he can resign as Director of Administration and become the Director of Public Safety.......Before any one reacts and calls me crazy....this Erie folks and the politicians here are CRAZY!

Of course they won't even approach anyone qualified to run the place..such as the Directors of East or West County Communications, EmergyCare Communications, Etc.. People that actually know what they are doing and could fix the mess up there.. Of course, which one of them would take it? They are too honest to play the political games that would be required, and would probably only have the job until the next County Exec. takes office and puts whomever they choose in there.

He just needs to keep looking for a new job. Most of the problems will be fixed come January.

The talentless Mr. Wiley.

I had a meeting with the outgoing county executive about 3 1/2 years ago about economic development. I was stunned at the people that were a part of the county team. Wiley and Bob Spaulding were clueless. It was a disgrace.

Remember, Sinnott and Ian Murray and Rubino are all pals. Sinnott and Murray supported Phil English last election and they lost that gamble. Big time.
The DiVecchio-Leone-Murray-Sinnott gang are losing power fast. I wouldn't trust them at all.

Kathy doesn't owe those clowns a thing. And that's a good thing for Erie.

Wiley will go down harder than Foust and Myers put togther.

Murray and Grossman have been seen dining at Mi Scuzis. Could this be a hint of things to come? Murray - next public defender. So much for Murray's loyalty to Divecchio. Murray isn't loyal to anyone but himself. Ask his first two wives and four kids. Once a scumbag - always a scumbag.
