Many of you have probably received today an email from etn announcing upcoming changes to goerie.com . Reading between the lines, it is obvious that it will no longer be a free service. BIG MISTAKE!!! Greedy bastardos!

Would you say that was a "wicked" or "fierce" comeback? Either way you get a zero for originality.

Owning a newspaper is nothing but a status symbol. You can bet those people will hang on to it as long as the "little people" continue to kiss their behind. They are doing less & less to support the growth of the community & more to protect "old" Erie's wealth from those willing to put effort in to.better themselves through legitimate efforts. If you are willing to work under the table or illegitimately, they have work for you, no problem. They won't be in trouble, you will. Just more fodder for their rag.

I stopped reading the Erie newspaper for good, when they endorsed George W Bush for President, Rick Shenker for County Commissioner, and Rick Filippi for Erie Mayor.

Oh yes, and the Erie Times News also rechristened the term "Fluidized Bed Combustion" into "Fluidized Bed Technology" - getting rid of anything related to burning...

The Times (wrongly) claimed for years that it really WASN'T a tire burning plant...
Well, yes it WAS a tire burning plant...

You better believe it. Y'll gotta like the way CNN lovingly kisses my ass on a daily basis. I pretty much have my regime give them the news that we want out there.

You should resubscribe. Since then they have endorsed me twice. As well as my fellow democrat stooges such as Grossman and Dahlkemper.

They are already charging you if you want to read more than 4 main articles a month. After you read the fourth article a pop up comes up telling you so.

But if you must read the rag, just clear your goerie.com cookie. Then you can read 4 more articles.

I find it kind of ironic that everyone who doesn't "read that rag" is really concerned about finding ways to read it for free.

Also, the people that "haven't read it for years" seem to know all of the changes the paper has gone through.

Keep puffing your chests out while hiding the truth people of Erie!

You should probably be more concerned about how your precious paper is hemorrhaging money and is basically on the way out.
