We used to do this but the last few years it's way to crowded for me. I'll wait till next Tues. Sales still on and not much in the way of crowds.

My allergies would flare up were I to be near all those obese women in sweatpants and scrunchies at 5 am at Wal Mart.

When your shopping you should ask the New Yorkers and Canadians, why they come to Erie

Sorry, the English teacher in me must correct your spelling. It should be "you're" because it is a contraction of "you" and "are."

We will be shopping Friday, but not until later in the day. I really don't have that much more shopping to do. Never would I get up early to stand in line for anything, even if they were giving the doorbusters away for free. Don't really care. I like waking up, drinking my coffee and reading the paper. Don't like to be rushed. Anyway for all of you that will be up early for shopping, have a fun morning.

I'll be buying as quickly as my mouse clicks add to the shopping cart. There's a few local merchants I enjoy going to, but about 70% of our Christmas shopping is via the internet.

As my wife put it, I don't shop --- I buy.

It is a good feeling to be done with my Christmas shopping and not need to go out for the next month and join in the holiday rush. Good luck to you black Friday bargain hunters!
I agree Penny I too will be sleeping in and enjoying my coffee! It's a good day to curl up with a book and relax =)

It's funny how many people who can't make their mortgage and/or car payment, will actually be batteling it out with some old ladies for cutting in line on Friday...

Hahahahh toooo funny...I never shop on black friday either...all that ebonic talk at the mall would drive me nuts, plus the swearing and the four letter word flying around like flies on a pile of dung. No thanks.

I heard this morning that Target is selling (door buster) coffee makers, slow cookers, and toasters for $3. Gee you could cover the whole family for $60. Assuming they need these things.

You know this for a fact? You can predict this? How do you know this? Just more negative remarks from you. Stop worrying about what everybody else is doing. It's not your concern. Go enjoy yourself doing something.

I sure do know this for a fact. My line of work and extracurricular activities allow/force me to come across all kinds of deadbeats. And yes, it is my business when I am funding their food so that they can spend their cash at Bestbuy tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy your government cheese turkey. You can worry about your mortgage payment on Monday.

I went to Wal-mart on West Ridge Road about 10:00am, they had no signs up to let anyone know what items were on sale, some items in the ad rang up the regular price, so evidently their SPECIAL items were not in the computers with the SPECIAL prices, never again, it was a waste of time, in the future I will shop at my convenience...
