" Yeah but there's nobody gettin' rich offa welfare ! " No kidding ?
This still doesn't address the fact that many lowlifes in America make there entire business of doing just that..... sitting back waiting for their expected check to arrive courtesy of the American taxpayer. They become quite used to their lower standard of life especially when it means they never have to get up for a job and put in an honest and full day of work. The trade off is a ton of free and idle time and they are more than happy to maintain it. Keep in mind the key point here......... we all know most do not live prosperously riding the welfare train. However, there are many out there who would rather do this than be self reliant and responsible citizens and that's the choice they make instead. Also, do not confuse the truly needy ( elderly, sick, crippled, devastating event, etc.) with the lazy able bodied scammers leaching off the system. It seems the cry is always on the " haves " to fork over more while no one ever does anything or demands justice from the schemers. That's why good hard working people get so pissed off.

Sorry if we have a societal structure that has us help others as if we're all in this together.(though to varying degrees) Spending other people's money? People like you make me laugh with the tough love. Quit whining and work to earn your money is what I'm sure you'd tell a black kid. Yet when nuts like you lose elections and you have to pay more in taxes I say to you: Quit whining and earn your money. To which I'd add "even if you have to work 3 jobs". That's what you'd tell a black isn't it? Point being is that people like you are as lame as the people you criticize.
You remind me of a feel good liberal social worker on the TV news a few years back describing her involvement with a group providing free meals to wino`s & bums who infested downtown Erie when she stated .....'"These people are UNDER SERVED" excuse me don`t you mean "OVER LEISURED"
Anyway As I posted the truth escapes you & passes by you at speeds over Mach 1. I do not have a problem helping those who are infirm or aged ...able bodied is another thing.
Work two or three jobs, whatever it takes is what I would tell anybody who had self respect & color is not an issue . I have been there & done exactly that as have many of my generation.
It is the path to success for most people when you start out at the bottom of the ladder & If you make it too comfortable for the welfare lizards they will never attempt to climb the ladder again or in the case of many never take the first step. Were it my decision there would be no welfare for the able bodied....Work Fare would be the ticket or starve
So take your BS societal structure issue & put it where the sun don`t shine right next to your dormant crap stained brain.

Q: How do you confuse a Liberal?
A: You don't. They're born that way.

Q: Why is it good to have a Democrat passenger?
A: You can park in the handicap zone.

Q: What's the difference between Elvis and a smart Liberal?
A: Elvis has been sighted.

A Democrat died and a friend went around collecting for a fund for his funeral. A woman was asked to donate ten dollars.
"Ten dollars?" she said. "It only takes ten dollars to bury a Democrat? Here's a hundred - go bury 10 of them!"

Q: How do you keep a Democrat busy?
A: Write 'Please turn over' on both sides of a piece of paper.

Q: How do you keep a Liberal busy all day?
A: Put him in a round room and tell him to wait in the corner.

Q: What do you call a Democrat with an IQ of 130?
A: A foursome

Q: How do you get a one-armed Liberal out of a tree?
A: Wave to him.

I'll say this about him. He used to feed the deer around his house and got to bringing a really huge buck around. One of his neighbors waited until the huge deer was legal to be taken and promptly shot it. I hope he continues to nourish these tasty game animals for the rest of us!

Are you allowed out without supervision? We`ve become more affluent & can help more, so we do? What a crock , when are you going to run out of other peoples money to spend?
Truth is never over quoted , just seldom used by the Democrats in the schemes they promote.
By the way Whiz is the sound that Truth makes as it flies by over your head & bang is the noise made when Truth exceeds the threshhold for the speed of sound as it accelerates past & above .you.
You are grasping for straws now !
Hey East Side Elmer Fudd what do you mean when you say taking other people's money to spend? You do understand that being a citizen means you agree that your time spend here is conditional on what government does and expects of it's citizens, right? The Tea Party Nuts now are imposters. You do realize that with the original Tea Partiers they were not just fighting the idea that they had to share some of their wealth with others, their complaint is that they didn't have representation. You do have representation so your claim of people or the government (we the people) taking your money against your will is bogus. You sign up for it every day you continue to remain a citizen and live here. Paying taxes in order to be a part of this nation is a super awesome deal. Quit being a cheap grumpy Elmer Fudd type guy and try to look at all the good your taxes do.

I don't think anyone could dispute your well expressed position. But you say "no one ever does anything or demands justice from the schemers". Also very true. I think it's because nobody knows what to do and to adjudicate all these individuals would IMO result in a net increase in taxes only for the cycle to start over upon these people's release back into society. Don't you think there would be more crime if we made people more desperate? You've seemed fair minded so far but here's the million dollar question: what's your solution?

Are you saying that those generational dead beats should just be allowed to continue as always because demanding something in return from them would just make the problem worse ?
That free pass to dead beats perpetuates the problem and if more hopped on board don't you think that would be worse for our country ? In order to receive paychecks courtesy of the taxpayers able bodied dead beats should be made to do something that benefits society. They should be required to clean graffiti from buildings, volunteer in soup kitchens, demonstrate satisfactory attendance and academic performance by their kids, shovel sidewalks, perform required hours of community service, etc. I'm sure there are dozen of various deeds aimed toward the public good that these folks would be able to do to deserve tax payer funded checks. Otherwise the message continues that the willful dead beats are excused from productivity. Are you advocating that willful dead beats be allowed to stay that way and not change a thing ? Is it up to everyone else to simply accept all this by handing over more of their hard earned dollars to those who refuse to hold up any portion of the bargain ? It would be much more acceptable to support people who at least do some measurable acts that benefit society.

Dood. I bid on a job at GE and with the off shift bonus if I get it I'll be making $40 an hour as an inspector.(That's kind of an important thing regarding locos valued in the mega-millions.) I say that in part out of pride but also because I was on welfare and did the "work for your welfare" thing and I don't think you have the foggiest idea what you're talking about.

I had no running vehicle so they paid my way to Edinboro College for an office job so I could do mostly nothing. But according to people like you it was very important that I was made to do that. You know, to teach me a lesson and all.

I think people like you have no clue regarding how many "make work" things politicians pass that are a joke and supplemented organizations play right into it as if it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. But at least they shut people like you up which is their actual goal. Win, win, win all around except for the higher taxes which are worth it to teach people a lesson, right?

BTW what's your solution? I think it got lost in your complaints.

Your right Skip, how thoughtless of me. I'm coming around to your side..... just let it go, just let those able bodied and scamming collectors of tax payer dollars keep on doing what they do, no questions asked. Better to blame others for not giving enough so that more can be doled out to the non-producers. In fact, let's hope that more is taken from working tax payers and more people get on the welfare wagon because it's a system and lifestyle that should be fully accepted and never questioned. Thanks for the valuable insight Dood. Who the hell am I to suggest that cheaters and scammers be considered as part of any problem ? Let them be. Besides there are so many other bigger issues and guilty parties to address, what difference will a few more government dependents make anyway ?

Sabols main point in the letter was "Don't cry for Tricky Dick Nixon", how all the right wingers can crow about all the other mumbo jumbo on here is ridiculous, other than Ike the rest of the modern day republican presidents were crooks.
Sabol spoke the truth and that is a foreign word for the shallow brained right wing Tea Baggers, get over it. From Nixon to Lil Bush the republitards really made a mess of the great US.
Time for Hillary and Bill to come back and help our Honorable Commander in Chief Barack Obama continue to straighten out the mess that Reagan, Bush Sr. and Chaney-Bush created with Boener and Mitch McConnell, and the rest of the wealthy 1%.

Even you don't believe your post. Nixon was innocent and never convicted of anything and the left tried to impeach him. Obama has been proven guilty over and over and the right has not trie to impeach him. Come over to the real world and face the facts. PS the wealthy 1% consists of Obama and the Clintons. The only difference is the obamas and clintons stole their money from the people while McConnell and his contemporaries earned it. The real mess was started by Carter and Reagan Bush1 and Bush2 tried to fix his mess. I doubt anyone is going to be able to fix this massive mess obama has created with the full support of the parasite class.
