The entire story is a complete tragedy. I belive Zimmerman, despite all his flaws and problems, wanted to do good. And had Ttrayon lived, we might have been the better for it. I am grateful to be spared the awesome burden of making such a judgement.

If it were true that Trayvon attacked first physically, would you still refer to him as innocent?
If Zimmy attempted to detain Martin, Martin had a right to defend himself. He had commited no crime and Zimmy had no autthority to detain him We hae no real way of knowin what actually happened..

I think the manslaughter chare will stick thogh. Zimmerman inored the dispatchers instructions not to follow Martin.

Yes but the reality is it wasn't like that. Zimmys dads influence did him no favor. Zimmy has obious meental issues (he was taking nut medication that nite) and should neer been given a carry permit.

You might want to get your comprehension skills checked out. The way you worded your post, you implied that wanting to hunt and kill *wasn't* a flaw.

It's my observation that in this society, with rare exceptions, the only people who can cap people and not do time are the police. Zimmy is finding out the hard way he is not a cop.

<quoted text>Assuming for the sake of argument the black child physically attacked the older adult, don't you think that's reason for retaliation?
Assuming he hadn't stalked Martin around the compound first, yes. But Florida law states that you are only allowed to use deadly force when "he or she reasonably believes that such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony."

When was Zim in danger of imminent death or *great* bodily harm from an unarmed boy? What "forcible felony" was imminent, besides GZ possibly getting his ass beat by someone he had been FOLLOWING?

If you believe, for one minute that Zimmerman DIDNT have his gun drawn when he got out of that car- youre an idiot!!

I think that this was a dream scenario for Zimmerman. He seems like a big Delta Bravo and other than intent, there's very little difference between researching a law to educate yourself & researching a law so you can "game" the situation if it ever comes up.

In my opinion, he probably __should__ be convicted but most likely will not be.

Misinformation & irrelevant beliefs continue from the clueless ......What does Florida law provide for & did the state prove its case? Was there any evidence at trial which meets a requiremen tto convict George?
Personal opinions are like assholes, everybody has one but in court at a trial only the evidence matters & the evidence provided by Georges team supports his story1 00% & the States evidence fell apart on the witness stand the very first day when the illiterate bimbo was caughtlying& admitted it

If I were ever subject to a trial .....I for sure would request a panel of Judges to decide my guilt or innocence then to roll the dice on a panel of 12 potential jackasses such as you.
