Why does Millcreek seem to want to keep up with all the national trends?$92 thousand worth of corruption and the fake cancer teacher christina webster. Similar to a mentally ill Cambridge special education teacher who faked cancer. Is this what we have come to in Millcreek? We are too vigilant of a community to let these things continue.
Case in Summary
In 2008, Breanne McGuire told teachers and the autistic children she taught at Hespeler Public School she was dying of neuroblastoma cancer.
A fundraising event organized by Hespeler Public School teachers fake-cancer case. Often fakers "purposefully set out" to get money, and that would call for a jail term, the judge said, but "this was attention-seeking behaviour."
"Co-workers began to notice that the accused's eyebrows always remained intact even when she claimed to have lost hair from her 'treatments.'
"People began to notice the accused was often using white makeup on her face to appear pale and she was seen in town at a local cinema at a time when her online journal suggested she was out of the country receiving cancer treatments." A fraud complaint was made Nov. 18, 2009. Medical records revealed she received no cancer treatments.
"She was diagnosed with experiencing dissociative episodes which could occur two to three times per day," Katzsch said. "These episodes could include total amnesia or variable behaviour.
"She would awaken to find herself in places which she could not explain how she got there. Other times, she self-harmed herself. Injuries to herself included slapping herself at times she would cut her throat or vagina, requiring stitches to close."
Lynch said most people in the community would find the case "repugnant," especially people who have been touched by cancer. Real cancer victims seeking help from the community might not be believed after McGuire faked it, Lynch said.
"What makes me feel the most betrayed is that Bre's deception has made me a somewhat less caring person. Before this whole debacle, if I were confronted with such a heart-wrenching story, my first reaction, after feeling acute sorrow, would be to step up and try to think of a way to help be it monetary or simply caring for that person.
McGuire, a special-education teacher who worked in Hebert's class, devastated students with her story about dying of cancer, Hebert told court.
"One of the autistic boys asked if she would let him know where she would be buried as he would like to bring her flowers. Another girl in the class sobbed inconsolably for an hour.
"How could someone torture innocent children like that? How could someone profess to love children and want to teach and nurture them and then turn around and wound them so deeply."
After McGuire left the school, a teacher at Hespeler Public School died of cancer in her early 30s, Hebert said.
"I was so emotionally drained and hurt by you, not physically nor emotionally could I offer support to her or her family," she told McGuire in court.
"Words like swindled, lied to, conned, fooled all come to mind right away, but perhaps the most powerful word that immediately comes to mind is betrayed," co-worker Lisa Huhse said in a victim impact statement. "I immediately felt sick to my stomach; the reality I had lived for several years was all a sham, the emotional roller-coaster we had all been on was a lie concocted in Breanne's mind, and I felt like a complete idiot for having fallen for this scam."
And now enter the union...they could care less about children or about as much as Miguire or Christina Webster. They'll give teachers that fail the pass and try to keep them in the classroom.

So if you have such contempt for the school board, why don't you volunteer your own time and run in the next election to do a better job?

What a pathetic excuse. Reese, Pitzer and Kobylka were certainly not endorsed by the union or anyone working for the school yet they got elected. So unless or until you are ready to sit in the hot seat yourself, stifle your badmouthing.

Now there is another ignorant and stupid comment from your evil mouth. Two of those three are voting with the puppets and are in the union bag. Wake up and find out what is really going on instead of reading the Erie fish wrapper for your knowledge.

The union did not endorse any of those three, as everyone knows, and union endorsement was your so-called "reason" for not volunteering to run for a board seat. You've been called out and now can be disregarded.

Quite obviously not senile (again you are showing your ignorance) and I bet I'm much younger than you, but out of curiosity, what benefit do you assert that Reese, Kobylka and Pitzer are getting from union "back door operations"? They should know what they are missing out on. Hahaha, that is simply absurd.

Too bad. They're right. Try to listen; you might learn something.
