what a moron this whole notion of arming teachers is ridiculous!! they would be the first ones to get shot and they could never get the gun out in time. rediculous idea if you ask me

Most of my teachers couldn't match wits with their own students, let alone learn how to operate a firearm.

Also, these little old ladies couldnt be out-muscled for control of the weapon? Horrible idea.

Let's not forget how many crazy loons are out there in the teaching profession as well. It would be just a matter of time for a thought to be "good teacher" stresses out and decides to get even with those kids who make their life miserable day after day. And it wouldn't be surprising if the teacher's union came to their defense ! They could shift all blame to the gun manufacturer.

In order to carry, they would have to qualify with their weapon, just like the police do.

Since we can't seem to fire teachers who can't teach, maybe we can fire teachers who can't shoot.

Just a thought.

Hard to believe that the NRA was once about responsible gun usage and ecological preservation.

Yes, It is a shame that now they have to spend all their time and millions a year to protect the constitution. It would be nice if the president and all those that swore an oath to protect it would do that for us
