Well it,s back to the drawing board for obama care. It looks like this plan that was never time tested has already has run into more obstacles than it can handle. The implementation of this bill is more today a dream than a positve reality. Maybe somebody ought to scribble this bill back on the bathroom wall were it belongs and implement some other plan that is time tested with positive results.

Yep. We've embarked upon a process to destroy the best health care system in the world. Just ask the ones at Hamot and St. Vincent's who have lost their jobs to Pittsburgh. Ask the Doctor's who have been told their RVU's no longer justify their salary. Ask the intern facing bankruptcy over hundreds of thousands of dollars of medical school debt, and finding no way to repay it. Ask the medicare patient who had suddenly found it necessary to wait over two months for an appointment. Ask the mother who's child hasn't seen anything more than a midlevel provider in several years. Ask the surgeon who has been told he can't perform an operation because 'his' hospital won't accept the patient's insurance. Ask the sub-specialist who has been told,'We love you, but if you want to practice out of our hospital, we need to own your practice.' Find out what 'no leakage' means when you need a referral.

And in the meanwhile, STFU about something you know nothing about.

Why not just have the same plan for everybody that bitter old guys are on, single payer medicare? Fretting over the less fortunate is out of character for you. Place the blame where it belongs, on the corporate take over of medicine. If you're delusional enough to think we have the best health system in the world maybe you need to see a modern psychiatrist. None of the parasites at the top of these corporate interests contribute a thing to medical care.

And yet another know it all liberal comes before us to stand behind us and tell us something he knows absolutely nothing about.

How about you go to Canada or England and look into the rationing that is going on there. Walk though a London hospital and see patients stockpiled in halls. Talk to a Canadian about a knee or hip replacement, or any elective surgery. Ask about transplants.

Investigate medical research and medication breakthroughs. Tell me how many of them came from England and or Canada. Look into aids, cancer, MS and any other medical research, and show me one other country that even comes close to the research being done here.

Both Britain and Canada have private systems for those with the means to escape single payer hell. I'll take corporate health care over government health care any day, for one simple reason; I can fire the corporation and hire another when their care is inadequate. You can't do that with government run health care.
Now, go back to eating out of dumpsters 'cause that's the only place you'll find your free lunch.

Um, the government is not taking over healthcare. The Bill couldn't even get that far in Congress. The compromise was to try and get everyone at least insured to start to even out the costs.

The simple fact that your Congress, the same ones who voted Obamacare in and justified not reading it through, wants themselves out of the plan is all the disaster warning you need. They know more than anyone what a ruin this will make of the greatest healthcare in the world. Because your system is not 100% perfect does not mean an overhaul of this magnitude is necessary. Rather than move wisely forard to provide care to those without, Obamacare will instead drag the entire system down for everyone. That I believe is what he wanted all along and you gave it to him America. Just wait and see what you all jumped on board for. Youll scream and be in for the greatest shock of your life over this horrible decision.

The top 10 health insurers all pay their ceo more than 10 million per year. Explain how this is cost beneficial to the delivery of medical care.

WRONG! The Government is taking over healthcare , what to you think the government review boards are for? Why do you think the IRS is going to be involved?
The Government will have control over healthcare, who receives it,who don`t,what procedures are allowable & which ones will be rationed or restricted.
The Government will have the power to mandate who will receive care & who will be medicated & left to die.
The Government will have control over what healthcare will be provided, what the cost is (already far higher then planned )& the ability to fine anyone who refuses mandatory healthcare.
The Government has already given their most important supporters ...certain companies, unions & many government officials exemptions from a requirement to participate & help pay the tremendous cost.
Congress & the Senate had no clue what was in the Obama care bill .......no one , not a single legislator or senator ever read it. Even the California Freezer Eagle Nancy Pelosi in her own words uttered her supreme arrogant stupidity when she said "We have to pass the Bill to see what is in it!" ignoring the fact this is what she & the rest of her colleagues were elected to the Senate & House to do. That is to read proposed legislation, determine its merit & reach a concensus through debate whether it is what the people want or need & how it will be paid for before any vote up or down is taken.
Sorry Nurse Betty , you are more ignorant then a box of hammers ...if you really are a Nurse, ask the parade of private practice doctors who are leaving the medical field or becoming hospitalists why they made these decisions.

Like this reply has anything to do with the fact that health insurers do nothing but skim. They take from the whole and add nothing of value to the delivery of care. What in the flying fuck all does the salary of jay leno have to do with anything. Use your govt provided Medicare to get yourself some help with the age related dementia you are afflicted by.

Hey stupid. Big Insurance wrote the bill. It is to benefit them. Really moron, you should be ashamed of constantly showing what a simplistic fool you are.

The bill was never about health care. Only the most simple minded of Democrats believe that. You fools that are planning to vote for Dahlkemper should remember that her bought and paid for vote is one of the reasons the criminals implemented this bill.

I've asked before and no right wing kooks ever have an answer: let's say you get your way an the ACA gets repealed- what's your alternative? What's the plan from the right?

You are probably the same "let them die" numbskulls who cheered in the republican debates at the thought of an uninsured person dying because they couldn't pay for care.

Regarding Canada, only reason for waiting periods for surgery is demographic. Less doctors spread out over a greater area means people have to wait in bigger cities for some procedures. Not a problem in the USA with our more plentiful hospitals and doctors.

Oh and that horrible English system has something like an 80% approval rating among its citizens.

I do believe the horrible bill was only supported and voted for by democrats. Sadly now that Dahlkemper's dumb ass was voted out, she will not get the Obama exemption that congress and Fed officials will enjoy.
