I hope all you Millcreek taxpayers are sitting when you open your tax bill from the township. How can you keep voting for McGrath while he sticks it to your pocketbook with an increase like that? And he wants you to kick in an extra $100,000.00 for his golf course. Enough is enough, 20 years as an overpaid politician with 41 vacation days is ROBBERY.

No Joe ,you and McGrath have been there way too long and are responsible for the mess. I know for a fact the Harborcreek supervisor told you this would happen because of your spending, especially with the most expensive police department in western PA townships.

Maybe Millcreek can do what Harborcreek does for police protection: rely on the State to pick up the tab. No wages, no insurance, no pension.

That was easy.

The 160,000 people in Erie and Millcreek subsidize Harborcreek's police services. And PennDOT takes care of its roads too. As a bonus, Summit and Harborcreek will tell everyone what geniuses they are despite the jive ass development they allowed.

Harborcreek is run like a business and Millcreek is run like an Old Boys club that's why Millcreek Taxes are so high. They do not need PA's highest paid township police force. A half dozen Barney Fife's with State Police back up is all thy need. They o not need 100 guys riding around in white trucks acting like a streets department but spending the day hiding. They do not need 3 full time over paid supervisors with 6 weeks vacation. It is out offhand and your a bill will keep growing to support the opulence.

McGrath and Kujewa stacked the study commission with puppets to rule in favor of keeping their jobs. It backfired on Kujewa and McGrath is next to go.

Guys...No worries on this....the study commission was only needed (although it failed anyways because of blatant corruption) because the three supervisors wouldn't put it to a vote and get it on the ballot....now....we have shifted the power...finally after twenty years...John and Rick both recognize they own nothing and recognize they work for the citizens bit the other way around like Brian....and they will put it on the ballot....so consider this topic done....the bigger issue...and they are working on it....is that none of the three have any real experience or education with business and budgets of this scale....Rick and John are however aware and admit to it ...and they're doing exactly what politicians are supposed to do....instead of acting as know it all's, they are reaching out to the business men and women of Millcreek for help. Now if only the school board knew that they own nothing and we the citizens own 1/55,000 of everything from the schools to the ten year old computers they try to educate our youth with.

McGraths agenda is to undermine the other 2 supervisors and keep the status quo. Harborcreek makes Millcreek look silly when It comes to running a township. Cost wise the police dept is out of control .

Why don't you move to Harborcreek then? I hear they have a Panera Bread AND and Bob Evans.

Run like a business? LOL. What business has an outside entity pay for its operating costs like Harborcreek does with its police protection? Too bad people have to die in fires in Harborcreek in exchange for the gloating about its taxation rate.

When the other shoe drops at GE, Harborcreek will become a white slum.

I hope you are correct. I spoke to John Groh and he was fine with another government study. At least that is what he said. Not sure if he was just trying to get my vote or not because it was before the election, but I did vote for him. After all he would be out of a job if they opted to have a council elect, or be forced to run for council and take a huge pay cut. I will consider the topic done when we have the most cost effective form of government that is not "glazed" over with a tainted study. Millhouse unduly influenced that study with scatter-piece information. Too many wanted the status quo. Why are we one of only a handful of townships with this Farmer's Style Gov.? The school board needs to replace 5 more members. But that is another whole thread.

Good post. As long as the study commission isn't stacked with McGrath or Judy Lynch lackeys it will be a good thing. The union is already planning their own school; board candidates.

McGrath has done absolutely nothing for this township and makes $80,000 and has 7 weeks vacation. That is a sin.
