Alec Baldwin’s flirtation with a possible run for New York mayor may not be just for show.

That’s according to his little brother Billy, who said in an interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan on Tuesday night that the “30 Rock” star’s on-and-off political aspirations could actually be “very real.”

“I think on one level it’s very real. I think he’s very committed and extremely bright and knowledgeable and I think he could do it and he could run,” Billy Baldwin said.“On the other hand, I’m not quite sure if he’s cut from the proper cloth because it requires a lot of tolerance and a lot of patience and …”

When Morgan cut in by noting that Alec Baldwin has a reputation for being “temperamental” and “a bit hot-headed,” his guest quickly jumped to his older brother’s defense.

“Let me remind you that John McCain and Rudy Giuliani are quite the same and they are very successful and highly effective politicians,” he said.

That ought to solve the Wall Street 'problem'. On the other hand NC would probably appreciate the jobs.

Exactly. The big Wall Street firms are already moving back office jobs out of New York due to the current Mayor and Governor's policies, and the implications on their cost structure. Not to mention the pressure on wage demands caused by the cost of living in the NYC region. It is pricing NYC out of the competitive marketplace for doing business.

On the other hand places like North Carolina, Indiana, Arizona, Mississippi and Texas are more than happy to welcome those businesses who chose to relocate parts of their business to their states. California, New York, Illinois and Massachusetts are too far gone to ever learn, and the jury is still out on Michigan.

Meanwhile look at what Ohio and Pennsylvania, with republican administrations, are attempting to do, in so much as changing the business climate. The governors of both states are trying to change the culture in both states. Look at what Corbett did to keep the Sunoco plant in Philadelphia operating for all those good democrats down there. He'll get no credit for the union jobs saved. Without his effort those jobs more than likely would be gone. Look at how Ohio's employment, tax revenue, and interstate commerce have improved under Kasick. Big difference between the two of them, and governor moon-beam in California don't you think.

Like NIGHT and DAY the difference is, CRANK.
Your post says it all-states that are BUSINESS friendly will attract business, which will create jobs, which will generate wealth.
States that are friendly to unions and dependency will die a slow death (but they'll have Obamacare to put the nail in their coffins and it will be a FREE nail!) and even THEN they'll still find something to blame it on other than their leftist, socialism and HUGE government interference.
But I'm sure that if Mr. Obama has his way he'll make sure to take from the HEALTHY states and give to his little pets so as to prop them up indefinitely.
He does need the votes afterall.
