These "head shops" are a detriment to the community. Can't the FBI shut them down?

O shut up, im sure these head shops are causing so much crime in the area. Also sure that if you closed them, the crime would just disappear. Get a clue....And why dont you mind your own business.

are you kidding???? we don't want it shut down. epd and the drug task force installed cameras to record everyone that visits the place. they then start investigating them as users. how do you think they've got some of the arrests they've made. the store is one of there best informants and they don't even know it. The weed is going to be legal. In as little as 5 years from now, people will wonder how so much money was wasted on prohibition of a plant.

Maybe...but until then there are a lot of arrests to be made. Personally I doubt it will ever be legal. To much money will be lost by the government. You think they'll settle for a tax amount when right now they keep everything they find during the arrest?

Looks like your the stupid one...drug money is seized and unless you can prove it wasn't obtained through illegal activity it is put into a RICO fund. That fund is used by cops and DA's to investigate more drug crimes. Now get a pencil and some paper and do the math...better get your toes out too. Why would they make drugs legal and collect taxes on the sales. Lets say tax on drugs is 25% and you sell $100. That means the state is going to get $25. OR If they keep drugs illegal and they follow you home from this store, get a search warrant, raid your place, find $500 that you've been saving for vacation and they seize it claiming it's drug money. Now they have $500. Which do you think they'd rather have?$25 or $500? To many visits to the same address and they can seize that property too. It would be nice if it were legal but they'll never do it. Even if they did, it would start with just medical use being legal for many years before it's made legal across the board. Highly doubt any of us will live to see the day.

Good, now the cops can set up surveillance on the place and hopefully remove a whole bunch of scum from society. There is absolutely no place in society for hippies or burnouts.

How much money is seized when 4 guys ride around in a helicopter for a week and don't find anything? The idea that forfeitures can support the continued drug war is ridiculous. Seizing a 100 grand wouldn't pay the salary and benefits of 2 cops. How many busts to fund an entire department? Think it through again numbskull.

the cops job is to shut the competition from their drug selling cronies... just like the media shuts down the truth in government. its a dumbed down and crooked world.

oh look...the retard thinks the cops are honest. LOL it has nothing to do with "needing" the money. They have a budget that pays salaries. This is "extra" money used to buy fancy toys like the night vision cameras recording everyone in and out of the store and pizza after a night of pointless stake outs. DUH!

Im not sure who has been posting under the Terrapin name but its fake . Nice story about cops putting in cameras
clearly someone has no life an enjoys making things up . There are security cameras at the shop but so what , what
store doesnt have cameras anymore ? It sounds to me that that comment is only intended to hurt the reputation of Terrapin .
The fact is the vast majority of Terrapin customers are out of town customers and to our knowledge not one single person shopping at
Terrapin has been busted or harrased by law enforcement in any way shape or form , nor would they ever have need or reason .
Terrapin sells high end all organic nutrients for gardening needs , we cannot control WHAT the customer grows with it .Nor do we
encourage or condone and illegal activities of any kind . Our policy here at Terrapin is your business is YOUR business . Headshops rock
we have no issue with Tabbacoo use or users and carry a very wide variety of vaporizers , e juices , and other tabbacco related accessories including glass tabbacco pipes
and waterpipes . All intended for tabbacco use .
