Weren't we led to believe the gaming revenue was to go to lowering our property taxes? Instead they have a group of do nothings being paid to decide who to give it to. They are handing out 600k today to local non profits. I am sure there are several small businesses around town that could qualify as non profit. Why not give it to them?

I didn't make the initial post.
Wanna talk about stupidity? I'm not stupid enough to give an example without you specifying what you want an example of. 1.) The do nothings getting paid to decide. 2.) The non-profits that the 600K went to OR 3.) The small businesses around town that could qualify to be non-profit.
Which is it? You don't even know the question you are asking. Yoo late to ask now. You already look stupid. In the future get your house in order before you come here to talk down to others.

For example, the local radio stations seem to be struggling, judging by the awful product they put over the air. That is, when the stations are even on the air.

Now the desperation sets in. Let's edit the replies posted to our responses to convey the message we wish was being told.
That was clever back in 2009 when people first discovered that.

Why, I'm sober and it won't help you to understand any better anyways. I asked for specifics and that seems to be too much for you and your butt-buddy "Doh" to comprehend.

How about instead of giving the money to private businesses, which I whole-heartedly disagree with, give it to the county schools to use for education. It was originally slated to help fund the possible community college but failed to raise 1/5 of what would be necessary. Our schools could use that additional funding considering the decrease of state funding, thanks to our wonderful governor.

Public schools are over funded and under produce.
What would the money be used for, taint licker? Even more extravagant pensions and perks for over paid part time workers?
Stick to gargling my balls. You're not half bad at it, honey.

So, your solution for our schools is to provide less money, less opportunity to our students? Why do they all can be as obviously miserable as you? I would rather provide more opportunity for them to be more successful than I am. Giving less is not the answer, tea bagger. You are, again, the classic example of "it's good enough for me, but when it doesn't benefit me anymore, it's too good for you". Let me guess...are you, by chance, a baby boomer? The generation of greed. Small government...but don't touch my SS or Medicaid!!!!

I live in Millcreek and I think the education provided there is fantastic, thank you very much. So, no I dont think it is over priced nor is it failing. It deserves more from people like you who will take but not give back. There I answered your question, now answer mine. I bet you can't...bagger...people like you are incapable of forming a thought without insults.

My original post was about what we were told when the governor was trying to sell everyone on the idea of casinos. The money was supposed to be used toward property taxes. That appears not to be the case. Rather than spend part of the revenue to decide how to spend the rest of it, why not throw it out to the crowd at the parade on Saturday. My point is I don't agree with giving the money to local non profits. I don't give a f__k if you agree with me or not.

I agree about giving it to schools. It appears to me that whoever tells Perry Woodrow what he wants to hear gets some money. Non- profits are great and everything. Buy why not help fund something that helps our future. I also don't mean the City schools either. GE is always donating money there. Look at some county schools who have kids that enjoy going to school and want to further their education. I find it hard to believe.that someone had to put together a board of people, paide none.the less, to distribute gaming funds. Talk about a messed up decisions
