I have listened to him for some time now. And i've caught some things that I do not like. For instance, he has on occassion, said that people should not read the bible as much as they should be meditating, allowing the Holy Spirit to come into their minds in the fulfilment of the scripture: "be still and know that I am God."

I understand the concept of what he is stating but I am aware of: "search the scriptures daily to prove all things."

I agree with the concept of not making the physical book of the bible an idol; but I disagree with his statements regarding the not reading of scriprure.

I am also uncomfortable with his calling himself "Rabbi." I am aware of why he does this, but I am also aware of : "call no man father, for you have only one Father, your Heavenly Father and call no man rabbi, for you have one Rabbi, the Christ." As well as being written that: There is no need for you to have a teacher, for the Holy Spirit shall teach you all things." I am an example of this, because I know as Kirt knows; as Paul knew as the other Apostles knew.

But every Christian has his job to do; and he is doing his.

But I am very untrusting of all who say they know God. I hold fast to the scripture: "if it does not agree with the law or the prophets, it is not truth."

He is 52, married with a college-aged daughter. He is truely annointed with the Holy Spirit!

" he has on occassion, said that people should not read the bible as much as they should be meditating"( your words) The Rabi was only stating it is more important to have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and letting The Lord speak to you rather than reading the bible. He was not telling people to not to read their bible. This is how you seek the Lord and let the Lord reveal who he is to you. Many of us read the bible and form understandings of what we read wrong because of our own understanding gets in the way. I have been going to ADAT ADONAI (I also go to a church too) since before Rabbi Schneider became the Rabbi there and I know he is true to his relationship with the Lord and the call The Lord has on his life. He has done a great job leading people closer to the Lord. I’m sure if you ask the Lord to give you more understanding on these things that don’t agree with you. The Lord will let you know. This kind of questioning is what the Lord does to prompt us to seek him. I hope this helps, may the Lord bless you.

Shalom Everyone.
I ran across this posting doing a general internet search for "Messianic Monroe, MI." After reading a few of the comments that have been posted in regard to Mr. Schneider, Adat Adoni, and Discovering the Jewish Jesus, I was compelled to respond... at least briefly.

"Paul" and "Ray" both expressed interest in why a previous poster would refer to Kirt as a Fraud. I can speak on this matter first hand, Mr. Schneider had one of "his elders," at the time, ask me to leave and never come back. This was after Kirt and I had a meeting with another one of the elders present, I'm guessing as a witness. In this meeting Kirt told me: "if you want to have any part in the ministry of Adat Adonai you will have to fall under my vision, and not question anything I say or do." I responded to Kirt by saying: "Kirt, I will always question everything you say or do to know that it is in line with Scripture." His immediate response to this, and this is a direct quote: "This meeting is over, Get OUT OF MY OFFICE, I LOOSE YOU TO SATAN!"
I left and was like, what was that all about...
The following Shabbat I was asked to leave by one of the elders with tears in his eyes.

This was my personal experience with Kirt and his wish to be a cult leader. He later stole the TV program everyone has come to love from Adat Adonai and the Founder of "Discovering the Jewish Jesus."
The TV program was created as a blessings for the congregation Adat Adonai, but has been taken away from them and now only "blesses" Kirt and his family.

I know of many other teachers that have some great outreach ministries, they say the right things while the cameras are on, but behind the scenes often times it is a completely different story.

Kirt may be a "teacher" which in Hebrew is "Morah."
He wishes these days to be call "Rabbi," which means "Master/Great one."
I have one Master, one Great One, Y'shua the Messiah.
Be very careful of any dealings you have with Mr. Schneider, and I do not recommend supporting him or his various forms of lying,(eg. Discovering the Jewish Jesus, Adat Adonai, and Shalom Ministries).

This is very hard to believe. The things you say are untrue Rabbi Kirt is not like that. I’ve been going to ADAT since before he was there. Rabbi Kirt’s teaching is sound. He teaches people to be closer to Jesus more than any human I know and the love of God is in Him. He has truly giving he’s life to the Lord, all his time and money to do what the Lord has called him to do.

Ann, you have called me a lair. However, the post I left is an accurate accounting of my first hand experience with Mr. Schneider. I actually was a part of the congregation before Kirt became involved with Adat Adonai. Kirt has kicked out others since that time, I know at least for others, they have they're own personal stories of there dealings with Kirt. I know many others who have left because they saw what was happening to the people they knew and loved.
You can take this up with Kirt yourself. Just ask him a few questions and see how he responds.
If you ever have any questions regarding how money is spent or question his authority or "vision" in any way you will know that my testimony is true.

Shalom.

He is telling the truth and those who don't or won't believe are missing out on knowing the true God--Jesus. I love to listen to his teachings. He is not a cult; nor is he harsh. He is passionate about wanting the lost to hear the whole truth and nothing but. The truth does prick the heart.

What type of lifestyle (personal) does he have?? Is he like Joyce Meyers here in st.Louis who says God wants her to be rich so she and her family live extremely lavish lifestyles. Where does he actually live.

I have just watched Rabbi for the first time on Daystar tv. And immediately I found the teaching I have been praying for. It was titled "As Enoch walked with God". I find the Rabbi very very anointed for the office he is in. Very few teachers of the Word really know what they are doing. Big ups to Rabbi.

I LOVE THIS MAN'S TEACHINGS!!! He is my very favorite on t.v., I find him very exact and accurate in his biblical exhortations. In fact, I'm reminded of the great apostle Paul in his deliveries of biblical truth with such passion and ferver----------Thank GOD WE HAVE A MAN IN THESE END OF DAYS THAT WILL STAND FOR THE TRUTH FOUND IN JESUS CHRIST!!

You discerned well, my friend! Messianic Judaism is suspect in general, for most congregants and so-called “leaders” are gentiles disguised as Jews - With their “garb” and a few “Hebraic” terms, they have generally fooled the masses of those who are often given a cup of delusion, for they LOVE NOT THE TRUTH -

When I first observed Kirt, in his garb, the messianic studio and all the “stimuli” to attract the flesh (itching ears), I became highly suspect, knowing it is church masquerading as Jews, no question about it. But, what really caught my attention is in his latest broadcasts, at the conclusion, he bends to one knee and projects his right hand forward, giving some kind of cultic sign, a hand gesture if you will.

This “hand-gesture” is a satanic sign to those familiar with it. Just google it and you will be convinced of what is stemming from his heart.

On another note, I contacted his ministry a while ago in an attempt to clear up a discrepancy about what he preached on concerning “dressing modestly at his service,” yet in the description of his “church,” it suggests come as you are dress code!?

Like the church of this generation belongs to the evil one and those within, his “Jewish veneer,” has fooled the masses. But remember,“many are called, few are chosen.” I have reserved 7000 that have not bowed to Ba’al, the master of this world -

I have listened to Rabbi Schneider on many occassions and there is nothing wrong with his teachings. His teachings are sounds and Holy spirit inspired. Anyone who say Rabbi is not teaching sound doctrines is just nit-picking, who like finding faults in everyone and everything and needs to look into the mirror as the bible tells us. Having said that, Rabbi Schneider does come across as harsh, but that's what cements his calling as a teacher. He behaves like a teacher not a counsellor, doctor or psychologist. A good teacher always want the best for his pupils and is not afraid to exert his authority and that's exactly what Kirt Schneider does.

Yeshua said: "woe unto you when men speak well of you". I doubt Rabbi Scheider is worried at all about his critics.

I have watched Rabbi Schneider off and on for several years now, depending on my work schedule, and find his teaching refreshingly honest and correct. There are very few bible teachers who are willing to speak the truth of Scripture as he does, especially concerning the Great Tribulation and the timing of the resurrection/rapture of the elect of God. There are always those who have an axe to grind, or strike out in bitterness or hostility because of whatever issue they may think they have with someone. I think each must make their own decisions in such matters and not immediately turn against the teaching of this or that pastor just because so-and-so said this or that.

Hummm, you persist in calling him by his first name, Kirt. I am now listening to a Cd series in which he addressed troubles he had when he first was led by the Lord to be addressed as Rabbi Schneider and how some of the congregation were offended by it and some refused to refrain from the more familiar "Kirt", thus not respecting his office as Rabbi of the congregation. Something tells me that you are one of those who refused him the due respect of his office as God's Shepherd to His flock. Sour grapes comes to mind........If this is the case, shame on you for your pig headed attitude.

Rabbi Schneider's teachings have blessed me more than words can express. I only wish I could attend his congregation. The Messianic congregation in my area is not satisfying in that some things to go on there on Friday evenings that are not scriptural. People come there on occassion who seem to be of the new age philosophy, barking, howling, and other manifestations of demonic spirits.

Rabbi Schneider, from listening to tapes I have purchased, seems to be a strong leader who would take authority over such things and put an immediate stop to such foolishness.

Some of the comments here seem to be hateful and mean spirited toward a good man who is merely attempting to lead his congregation according to Scripture. They need to learn humilit and, respect for those in authority, not vendictivly attack the man because he is following God's will. A man who leads a congregation is the Rabbi and should be respected as such in the way he is addressed.

PS Bat Tzion, I have heard of a newly forming Messianic congregation in the greater Cincinnati area in northern Ky, perhaps Covington or Ft Wright, but know nothing more about it.
