Does anyone know the Gooch family?

I've always heard of the Gooch name in Abbeville and some how being connected within the drug ring from the 70s, but have never known it to be true or not. Yesterday, I met someone with the last name Gooch and he was indeed a mysterious, but very nice fellow. Just curious if anyone knows anything on the matter...

It may be the same person, but yes their was someone that I believe to have gone to jail for something to do with drugs. Very nice man... Lol
Many Gooch's in this town are very good people and very nice.

I didn't ask mainly b/c I had JUST met him and why would he want to talk about himself or his relative's past or past rumor.

Also, what do you mean "trying to get info for Yawn" what does that mean?

The guy they are talking about is a great guy. They are being nosey. Most likely for the book of fiction. Let them find out like the bedrock people. Just go to the courthouse to public records.

I was just interested in the name b/c it is not common... And from asking others I've gained more information about the whole situation, and the Mr Gooch I met was not the one involved with the drug ring

If you came to topix you are being nosy and messy. So if you got all of the answers from outside sources why waste our time? Asking "others" is gossip.

The first letter of his name is "H"
You may be thinking of one of the other 4 brothers which one does live in Georgia, but was not connected in ring, his letter would be "T"

The "H" works out of state for long periods of time which may make it seem as though he lives in another state.
