Wasn't impressed. The potato salad sucked. Macaroni and cheese was alright and the pulled pork bbq (if you can call it pulled pork) was ok but the guy that sets up along the road in Bellview during the summer has way better bbq!!
Pretty sure

. I'm pretty sure it's the same guy that sets up in bellview because the name of the restaurant is named after his dad. I could be wrong thought it was the same person.

I work at dickeys and i deff see this place lasting longer than 6 months.. Dont judge the place by the first day its open when we had a non stop line of people all day.. And all employees only had one day of training due to the snow.... Please give us a chance.to get everything together and the food cant be that bad seeing that in the first 3 days of buisness we have had a non stop line with the dinning room full and already have regulars!!!

I think the real question is: will the mall still be there in six months?

I heard the mall is going to be tore down after the FBI leaves this summer. Probably why Colasessano's are building a new place in the parking lot of the mall.

I heard they have delivery within a 10 mile radius. Do they have a website, if not how can I see a menu without driving to Whitehall? Thanks.

Not being in the mall and having a drive-thru would probably help business. When the government offices close and move to their new locations, Dickey's BBQ will be no more. Whitehall is too far out of town for most people to travel just for barbecue

90% of the the wealth and buying power is in this area is in Whitehall. That's why they have businesses and downtown Fairmont is a ghost town.

Having said that, I wasn't very impressed with Dickey's. They are just starting so I'm willing to give them another try in a month. I'd rather go to Martin's in Morgantown for BBQ right now.

Whitehall IS too farto drive if you live ANYWHERE outside of Fairmont!! If you live on Grant town, Rivesville or Fairview it is closer or just as close to go to Morgantown. Especially when you use the short cut by Mylan Park. Fairmont has NOTHING to offer and the ONLY reason all the businesses go to White Hall is because Fairmont city robs them blind with taxes. They are only hurting themselves!!

Yes it's easier to go to Morgantown or Bridgeport. And worth the drive. Face it. The mall is a mess. One of the local cracked heads must have laid it out cause I have never seen such a mess to try to drive around. Potholes and potheads.....90% of the local worth and business? Lord help us....we are really in trouble. But Morgantown and Bridgeport aren't. Hey is the water park open? Lol
