Good, gays and lesbians have been let go for years just because they're gay. Let him deal with it.

It's too bad that you want to make our OWN military into our enemy, rather than unite together against the REAL foes of freedom.

Should EVERY workplace be like this, where some individuals are singled out to provide humor for everyone else? In the civilian world, we call this harassment. This guy could've saved his job with a little professionalism and respect. Instead, he has an all-too-common mindset: "Everyone is just like me, everyone thinks all the same things are hilarious that I do, and anyone different deserves to be shut out." Well, see where it got him? Now HE'S shut out. See how that works?

Time for the homophobes to understand that we will not be bullied by the far right any longer.

The "good" Captain should be gone with a less than honorable dis-charge.

This guy should already know what the term "conduct unbecoming an officer" means.

If the purpose of the military is now to be just another workplace, you queers better pray that a queer-friendly country like France dictates the terms of America's surrender in Washington D.C. after the US has their asses handed to them.

If you really believe that's likely, I doubt that any amount of reasoning could reach you.

The military has MANY differences from a standard civilian workplace, but there are also many ways in which they are similar. Professionalism and respect, like I mentioned, are still expected in BOTH places. Whether I'm working in an office or serving my country in the desert, I should still be able to expect that my "co-workers" aren't making fun of me like damn middle-schoolers. War is a very serious business, and it takes a shrewder mind than frat-boy thugs like this are capable of.
