URS unit wins helicopter training deal worth up to $240 million

San Francisco-based URS (NYSE: URS) won the contract through its EG&G division, which has been teaching helicopter pilots for the military since 1989.

Teaching takes place at Fort Rucker, Ala.

EG&G takes its name from the initials of the three men.
