It would be nice to have it confirmed as to whether the suspect was captured as there is an elementary school just off of Dartmouth and Santa Fe which is still in session.

Do not go anywhere near Santa Fe. It took me an hour and a half to get to Alameda and Santa Fe. Find detours where ever possible.

Or maybe instead of thinking about the school...most importantly is the officer okay?!? No one ever thinks about the people that you dial 911 to, that come to your rescue to help you out!! My gosh, come on people!

The reporter for this report has bad language. She states "The officer may have been drugged by the truck " instead of dragged by the truck.

My problem with the whole thing is, Is the officer ok? He chose to be an officer and "My Oh My" Wow, He got shot!!? He chose this profession!
"Protect and Serve!!"

Too, many people have been gunned down by Englewood "Officers'", and got to think, WHY!?

Lakewood did,nt shoot , Denver didn,t shoot, Englewood did, Hmmmmmm?

Yes, these officers chose to serve and protect. That does not mean they chose to get dragged down the street under an automobile! or to get shot! Your first question should be, Is the officer doing alright, or is he ok", the second question should have been if they took anybody into custody. Obviously, someone out there who doesn't think of the man behind the badge first, has had a run-in with law enforcement before. Get real people, they may wear a badge, and they may have sworn to serve and protect, but, there is a person behind that badge that has a family that is scared every time he or she walks out that door. And no I am not related or married to an officer of the law, I simply care about them as people.

I agree this people are brave enough to sign up to protect because if they dont then who will? Even people who dont like cops eventually call them for help and they come out and help. These are brave people. Thank you.
