Has anyone been surprised by the state unemployment people stealing tax checks from the poor they claim to represent? I drew unemployment for a small amount of time 4 years ago when I was laid off. I wasn't one of those that lay up for 99 weeks + extensions I went and got a 10.00 hr job because it was better than dealing with the corrupt unemployment union parasite workers(I use that term loosely). They claim to have OVERPAID unemployment claims by almost 27 million dollars in Colorado so I must not be the only one this is happening to. Bottom line they stole my lousy 800.00 state tax check. When I asked for exact details on how I was overpaid I never heard a word they just stole my money and turned me over to a collection agency because of their incompetence and having no ability to perform the simple task of approving or denying unemployment for the week stated. Typical public sector union leeches, and people wonder why no one has any faith in gov.

Hello when you get a job you have to use your SS#
so talk to ss people and see when exactly you started your job vs being unemployed.

Nope seems like if you have a complaint you need to make it... It appears you were given unemployment while you were working...
