This is just about the worst thing that could happen to anybody.
I prefer imagining living part of my life, dying, then coming back to live the rest of it.

There are plenty of worse ways to die. Drowning is by far not the worst.

There are really no good ways to die though.

Maybe it was suicide. Why else would someone want to swim in that cess pool river?

Are people that stupid they just dont learn that you need a life jacket when swimming in rivers. I mean come on retards. And i agree with monkeys, it is a cess pool in that area. I can see swimming and tubing down in the deckers area where i use to all the time, atleast the water there is clean.

Agreed the Platte River is disgusting. I would imagine that had he survived the drowning he would have had a ton of bacteria all over him and probably would have died of a disease.

I love the kiddies in the water down at Confluence Park. Only if their parents knew the ppm heavy metal in that river from the Zuni Powerplant at 13th Ave and Zuni street....

How sad that very few of you showed any concern for the man who died. Life is too fragile to speak of in this manner. What if this man's family happened to read all these uncaring and sarcastic comments. Shame on you.
