On Monday night, I saw transformers blew up on rt 46 across the highway from Skyview Inn. That was what made the power to go out in that area of fort lee. Until Wednesday afternoon, the damaged transformers were still danggling on the broken poll on rt46. Does anyone know if they start working on it yet?

Hi Mike
I don't think you need to worry so much.
Many areas in Fort Lee now have power,
and they will continue to get power back in
other areas.

If your parents live in one of those high rises
in Fort Lee, I think most of them have power.

I don't think Westgate condos have power, though.
If anyone knows they do, please post reply.

It seems the closer to main st u are the faster your power is being restored. Also i have seen no work being done on downed power lines near me, maybe seen pseg truck drive by once

I don't know what that Tae dude is rambling about,
but Mike, if your parents are in their 80's you SHOULD worry cuz i'm in my 30's evacuated to NY from fort lee.
My area had no power for 5 days, no heat, no hot water, it was freezing cold, unable to eat hot food due to no gas.
fort lee in general was a ghost town this whole week.

I hope your parents are okay and are able to get some help from their neighbors.

It takes and will take a long time to fully restore power in these situations. There are also priorities as to where it's restored 1st. IE: hospitals, nursing homes, police & fire. As well as what lines can restore power to the MOST people the quickest. Many people certainly feel they, or their area should be "priority", but the reality is that they are not. I know it's frustrating, but they realy are doing the best they can, in a very difficult situation, over a very large area.

there is still NO POWER in many parts of fort lee. CEDAR COURT has been out for 6days now and no hope as to when PSEG will come around. I have visited my parents every day and it seems like EVERYONE COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT FORT LEE. as I've been driving around I see many other towns with some work being done to restore power remove trees etc BUT CEDAR COURT IS A GHOST TOWN.

There is a PDF format Under nj.gov with information about PSEG Power restoration schedule. It states that Fort Lee will have power restored today by 23:59... I'm Hoping this is true.

I am in one of the high rises in Fort Lee, NJ, and have been without power since the storm. So, even the high rises on top of the hill are withouth power

No power in 3 buildings, PSEG are no where to be found, conflicting reports from mgmt company - states no power for 3-4 more days and as pointed out above it appears as if PSEG informed gov's office it will be tonight.......... Guess we will all know in 4 hours.

tae sounds like an idiot and has no idea what he is taking about. Fort lee has had no power restored and most all buildings are without power including green house. He must be working for the mayor or Pseg.the stupid update is also a lie just to keep us quiet. I have been going to work all week and every other town has crews working and power being restored except fort lee and teaneck. our mayor is a lame duck that can't get anything done. I saw a PSEG guy drive by me yesterday to actually assess the damage for the first time since the storm and he said the earliest was Wednesday. politics was the driver of who gets power restored first. So I guess now we know how much clout our mayor has, NONE. I think I will run for mayor next election. this town has always been the worst in restoring power during any storm when power is lost.Cliffside park does a much better job, that town is almost fully operational. Kudos to calabese. Thanks Sokolich you suck. It is freezing and we are hungry where is the love? All they want is our tax check and our mouths shut. Disgraceful
