Become a Member of the Red Wolf Coalition
Red Wolves may have gained a foothold in the wild, but the support of the public is desperately needed to ensure its survival. One way you can help is by joining the Red Wolf Coalition, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting red wolf recovery through education, outreach, and research. The Coalition has an office in Columbia, NC from which its programs can stem. Please stop by the office with any questions or to see the red wolf artifacts and merchandise. The Red Wolf Coalition is also planning a Red Wolf Center in Tyrrell County, NC. The Red Wolf Coalition also works closely with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the North Carolina Zoo, the North Carolina Zoological Society, Defenders of Wildlife, the International Wolf Center, Partnership for the Sounds and other organizations to expand its outreach potential. The future of the red wolf is in our hands. Please join the Red Wolf Coalition today. http://www.redwolves.com/ |

1 My family and I could not believe this lady had bothered to waste her gas to follow us to give us the the correct directions. AS we drove off she was still apologizing for giving us the wrong directions. These ladies have revived my faith in the fact that there are still really nice people. I shall never forget this lady and her friend and I will always wonder if all the people in yur town are that nice. I bet they aren't. Thank you Mam and God Bless You. Sprngtre@hotmail.com |

I heard the red wolves are an anomaly and not actually a native breed anywhere, that's why the ones here are the only population of them in the US or perhaps the world--can't remember every detail of the article I read on it, but it was to that effect.

Red wolves are out of control... breeding way more then what the gov is claiming.. big problem here and it is getting worse.
why wolves and not buffolo?... give you a hint ($$$$$)- easy not to be responsable for the damage and loaded with grant money, Tyrrell's govern. is padded heavy for this and they turn the other way.. just looka t the salaries of the county staff, they are the same as a county with a population of 350,000 and they only manage a county of 3879 |
