Everyone should contact their legislator/senator because this watered down bill is not a "giant step forward", but only a timid baby step at best. This certainly won't stop Kansas from becoming an immigration state in the mid-west compared to those state neighbors of ours!

the people that vote them into office.
This is not the government our fore-fathers created.

Reducing penalities is not the answer. Making the penalty harsh enough to deter crime is the answer.
